Scp-8496 aka the cube of nebula is a safe class object.
It appears to be a glowing purple cube about the size of a gameboy.
Size does not matter as any being and or weak material that comes in contact with it will start melting
Into a pile of blood, flesh, and bones or very very gross goop of not a human and or animal.
Backstory
It was found on 1998 when somebody found a small purple cube glowing
In the middle of his backyard after something fell from the sky.
He then went to pick it up when then he melted into a pile of goop.
The cube started to go inch my inch to “eat” the goop.
This then made it grow a bit more and only when it was discovered by
Foundation staff it had killed 23 people and Had grown to the size of a gameboy.
Containment Process
To contain it requires more effort then expected.
First you need a sacrifice to touch the cube, then a D-Class Personnel must put the goop
In a large container that is reinforced with several layers of bullet-proof glass.
The cube should go to the goop and thus get trapped.
But then it’s a race against time as the cube starts melting the container. Should the container get to it’s last layer, a backup container should be placed under the first container and gotten to the facility as soon as possible. Then standard containment rules apply to it so it should be placed in a large room with a steel floor and 2 layer steel walls.
