Special Containment Procedures
SCP-5161 should be kept in a standard-sized humanoid containment cell with all amenities. SCP-5161 is to be permitted level 1 access inside site 14 between the hours of 07:00 and 20:00. Staff on site should give SCP-5161 all courtesies. Once per day during this period a group of D-Class who are trained in the sport of █████ should be sent into a standard sized playing court with SCP-5161. The group of D-Class will commence procedure V-8441 for a period of one hour.
Description:
SCP-5161 is a male human approximately 2 meters tall and weighing 72.12 kilograms. Their appearance is of a young adult of about ██ years of age, though their actual biological age is unknown. SCP-5161 can perform inhuman feats of speed, strength, and agility at will. However, it only seems to utilize these abilities while performing in the sport of █████. When questioned by Dr. Bright as to why it only behaves anonymously when playing █████, SCP-5161 insisted that it is not anomalous in nature and is just very proficient at that sport.
Interviews:
Interview A - 05/25/████:
Interviewed: SCP-5161
Interviewer: Dr. Bright
Foreword: Dr. Bright interviews SCP-5161 after initially being contained.
<Begin Log>
Dr. Bright: On the night of May the 20th you were observed playing █████ at park █████ in British Columbia Canada. You showed an anomalous ability to perform this sport against a full team of expert athletes and beat them. Can you explain to us how you gained the capacity to do this?
Civilian: Uh, seriously man? I am just really good at playing █████
Dr. Bright: Please just tell me about anything you saw or felt that was out of the ordinary in the days preceding this.
Civilian: No, there was nothing. I just have been practicing this sport for a few years now and I thought I was pretty good. I was walking past the park and noticed the team playing █████. Naturally, I asked to play them and they accepted.
Dr. Bright: Did this team of athletes not think it odd that you, a single person wanted to play them?
Civilian: Sure, they only sent in one guy to play me at first. But when I kept beating him the rest came in to help beat me.
Dr. Bright: Do you not think that your ability to play this entire team and beat them is strange at all?
Civilian: Strange no athletic? Sure! I don't see you guys containing Usain Bolt for being too fast. You gotta let me go!
Dr. Bright: Please calm down Mr. ███████, we are only trying to help you.
Civilian: Please, you have to listen to me! I am not some superhero! I am just a nor…

Closing Statement: SCP-5161 was sedated to neutralize its agitated state. With the anomalous ability, it shows there is no way to be sure it will not attempt a breach if it learns that we intend to contain it for the foreseeable future.
Experiments:
Test A - 03/11/████:
Subject: SCP-5161
Procedure: SCP-5161 was placed in a tank of 3 by 3 meters with a height of 5 meters and a hatch on the top. Once SCP-5161 woke up at the bottom of the tank it was heated to a temperature of 100 °F, well within the maximum heat, a human can withstand. Results: We had planned to raise it to 200 °F after a period of 30 minutes, however, SCP-5161 fell unconscious before this time elapsed. During the time SCP-5161 was conscious it showed no ability to jump or climb out of the tank and it was not for lack of trying. Its ability to withstand heat is also below even the average human endurance.
Analysis: Although the test was not able to be run to completion, we can safely say that SCP-5161 has no anomalous ability outside of the sport █████. As long as SCP-5161 shows no signs of hostility I recommend that it be classified as safe and contained under regular humanoid procedures.
Test B - 05/26/████:
Subject: SCP-5161
Procedure: SCP-5161 was sealed into a chamber surrounded by anti memetic shielding containing sufficient food and water and left for a period of 2 weeks without access to play the game █████. Results: For the first 24 hours SCP-5161 acted relaxed and did not perform any actions out of ordinary. In the preceding hours, SCP-5161 began to grow agitated, pacing the chamber and calling out for someone to answer it's requests. Due to the nature of the anti memetic shielding used, we were unable to respond to SCP-5161 during the test. Once 48 hours had elapsed staff within an estimated radius of 12 meters of the chamber began to experience an urge to enter the chamber and perform Procedure V-8441 with SCP-5161. Guards were ordered to lock the staff up but the guards also were effected by SCP-5161's memetic urge. There was a containment breach initiated by the staff of site 14 where they all took part in Procedure V-8441. Analysis: SCP-5161 has a very powerful memetic ability to compel nearby humans to perform Procedure V-8441 with it. SCP-5161 also has the ability to resist the foundation's memetic shielding. The containment breach led to the loss of 63 personnel at site 14. Containment procedures that include D-Class performing Procedure V-8441 once every 24 hours are highly recommended.
Procedure V-8441:
Procedure expunged by Dr. Bright as of 10/01/████.
Requests to view this procedure may only be approved by level 5 or higher personal.
