Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid Keter

SCP

All SCP-XXXX instances starting from SCP-XXXX-1 and ending in SCP-XXXX-7. (image acquired during initial recovery)

Special Containment Procedures: Due to the nature of SCP-XXXX, each instance of SCP-XXXX (referred to as SCP-XXXX-1 through SCP-XXXX-7) has it's own minor containment procedures which differ from instance to instance. However, SCP-XXXX instances are very similar in most aspects and as such should be contained in similar conditions, but with the additional needs of each instance. All SCP-XXXX instances should be filled with required, self-sustaining habitats as defined by that instances specific containment procedures (though all instances generally require soil, access to water and adequate amounts of food, plants and fauna). All SCP-XXXX instances should be kept in a low-risk biological containment sector with no interference due to the items aggressive biological contents, however anything created by SCP-XXXX which leaves containment should be returned or destroyed. All personnel in charge of containing SCP-XXXX should familiarize themselves with the organisms being produced by SCP-XXXX as well as the required habitation for said organisms. All instances of SCP-XXXX should be inspected on a biweekly biases to ensure proper habitation, SCP-XXXX instances should also have their exterior and nearby surfaces thoroughly cleaned and any biological creatures found outside of SCP-XXXX which originates from an instance of SCP-XXXX is to be destroyed. If a SCP-XXXX instance's habitat is deemed uninhabitable OR SCP-XXXX's habitat is deemed destroyed through habitation, that instance's containment is considered to be compromised and should receive a new suitable habitation at site personals earliest convivence. One or two SCP-XXXX containment compromises are relatively easy to deal with, pose little danger and are a common occurrence (due to the aggressive nature of organisms produced), Under NO circumstances should containment fail for more than five SCP-XXXX instances and should all seven SCP-XXXX instances have their containment compromised a containment breach for the entirety of SCP-XXXX will occur. (see addendum).

Description:
SCP-XXXX is a collection of seven different anomalous vases of different shapes and sizes with similar but slightly different anomalous properties. Each vase is slightly different in it's shape and design as-well as being different in it's anomalous effect. Should an instance of SCP-XXXX receive an adequate habitat, that instance will begin to create different arthropods, insects or crustaceans which inhabit SCP-XXXX. This occurs every 5 to ███ minutes until the habitat can no-longer support any more organisms which will cause that SCP-XXXX instance to enter a dormant state. Each SCP-XXXX instance will only accept a habitation if it can support the survival of the specific organism it produces.
Produced Organisms are non-anomalous and will always mostly behave in a consistent way that the organism would in it's natural habitat, despite being in a small vase. The creatures almost always stay within the instance of SCP-XXXX that created it and any biological organism that wasn't produced by SCP-XXXX or apart of it's habitat that enters an SCP-XXXX instance will be immediately hunted and consumed, even if it's a creature of the same species.

Addendum: SCP-XXXX appears to have some form of hivemind or communication with each other SCP-XXXX instances as well as the organisms it creates. If an instance of SCP-XXXX is not contained correctly, all insects produced by SCP-XXXX instances will become much more aggressive and much more likely to attempt to damage their habitat or a SCP-XXXX instance itself. Should containment of SCP-XXXX as a whole fails, each instance of SCP-XXXX will simultaneously shatter and a WK - Class Mass Extinction Event scenario will occur as a result of every species a SCP-XXXX instance produced simply vanishing and becoming extinct. It is believed that this event has happened ██ times before, plus one guaranteed additional time which occurred while the item was under foundation custody. A cover-up story had been introduced to explain the 7 different insect extinctions and blamed it on climate change.
