SCP-4921: A Pile of Dust
Classification: Euclid

Description:
SCP-4921 is a pile of a gunpowder-like substance that is usually in flames and burns through almost everything that it touches. It self-replenishes and is easily combustible. There are no fumes and there is no smoke generated, causing researchers to hypothesize that it has inter-dimensional properties.

The anomaly is sentient and moves through unknown means. It communicates by burning words into the ground. It is possible that when it is not aflame it is in a dormant state. Confusingly, it is either unable or unwilling to burn living beings.

Containment:
The pile is to be contained in a 3.5 x 3.5 centimeter box comprised of human flesh sustained by [DATA EXPUNGED]. SCP-4921 is allowed 2 kilograms of combustible non-organic material to burn each day, along with 15 minutes of communication while heavily supervised in a 5 x 5 x 3 meter box with a camera mounted on the ceiling. These boxes are to be contained within Site-17.

Additional Containment Procedures:
If the subject breaches containment, SCP-4921 must be repeatedly doused in liquid nitrogen. All personnel within 2 miles of the anomaly are required to carry a can of compressed nitrogen at all times.
