Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: The ████████ Theatre has been closed indefinitely. Foundation security personnel have been assigned to patrol the building under the guise of construction workers. Any civilians inquiring about the theatre are to be told that the building is undergoing extensive renovations. Due to the unpredictable nature of SCP-XXXX's active events, the interior of the building is to be monitored remotely from Site-804. Under no circumstances should personnel enter the building.

Description: SCP-XXXX is the designation of a humanoid entity which appears in the audience of concerts performed at the ████████ Theatre in █████████. SCP-XXXX, on average, manifests at one concert every one to two weeks; however, acts playing music which have a higher rate of audience participation and/or violent incidents, such as the genres of rock, metal, or punk, tend to have a higher rate of manifestation, up to once per day.

SCP-XXXX appears to have a basic humanoid body plan. SCP-XXXX's appearance varies slightly per manifestation; markers such as eye colour, height, and facial structure are different each time, with no observable pattern. However, SCP-XXXX has several features which stay consistent through manifestations: blue skin, a third eye in the centre of its forehead, and waist-length dark hair. Further details are impossible to gather, due to the nature of SCP-XXXX.

SCP-XXXX appears a fair distance away from all observers and always appears to be partially obscured by the crowd. Pairs of agents have simultaneously reported the location of the entity being next to the other agent during attempts at communication; the possibility of multiple instances of SCP-XXXX has been ruled out by observation from the balcony of the theatre, as personnel placed at this vantage point report only a single manifestation of the entity. All purposeful attempts at approaching SCP-XXXX have ended in failure; the entity will vanish into the crowd before contact is possible, and will re-manifest some distance away.

SCP-XXXX has demonstrated considerable reality-warping abilities; however, due to its complete inability or unwillingness to communicate, the extent of these abilities has not been determined (See Incident-5-6-20██).

Sightings of SCP-XXXX have been reported since the opening of the ████████ Theatre in 19██. However, due to the nature of both the clientele and performances at the ████████ Theatre, these were written off as hallucinations, until the entity was seen in the background of a photo taken by ██████, a leading figure in the █████████ music scene, which led to its discovery by the Foundation. This photo, and all subsequent depictions of SCP-XXXX, were taken down, and the posters administered Class-A amnestitics, until the current former containment procedures were put into place.

Addendum 01: As of May 30th, 20██, a Foundation front company has bought out and subsequently shut down the ████████ Theatre on the orders of Dr. Maguire. Containment procedures have been updated accordingly.
Note: I know that this seems extreme, but having civilians constantly exposed to an SCP, harmless or not, is an unreasonable threat to both normalcy and our secrecy. Our continued existence is very much worth the potential neutralization of one entity. -Dr. Maguire

Incident 5-6-20██: At approximately 17:00 PM, a week after the enstatement of new containment procedures, the doors of the ████████ Theatre spontaneously closed, with several members of security still inside. All breaching attempts, up to and including the application of a small amount of C4, failed, with stronger methods deemed too risky to use in a populated area. All radio contact with personnel inside the building was lost at the beginning of the incident. At 20:00 PM, the entrance was found to have been unsealed, and on-site security entered the building. All Foundation personnel within the theatre were found deceased. Cause of death for all involved was determined to be exsanguination due to extreme injury. Previously installed surveillance equipment captured most of the incident (See Transcript 5-6-20██). Several similar incidents occurred over the next week without the presence of Foundation personnel.

Note: The deaths of the staff involved in this incident were a tragedy, and I will deliver my condolences to their families personally. However, aside from our inability to enter the building, none of the phenomena recorded by our equipment were observable from outside the building. In addition, the manifestations following the incident have shown that the entity is perfectly capable of entertaining itself without causing any undue harm. I request that the current containment procedures stay in effect unchanged, other than the addition of a warning against entering the containment area. -Dr. Maguire.

Note: Request granted. -O5-█
