Special Contalinment Procedures:
The containment procedures to SCP-5XXX should not be altered under most circumstances. The only exception to this rule is under direct and imminent threat of a K-Class Scenario. The entirety of Site-55 is to take a regimen of Class-X mnestics.

SCP-5XXX is currently contained within a large containment cell at Site-55 composed of an unknown material¹, with glass made out of a similar material leading into an observation room adjacent to SCP-5XXX's containment cell²This containment cell is seperated from the main structure of Site-55 by a hermetically sealed airlock composed of the same material as the main containment cell. This airlock is to be guarded by two or more guards.

No tangible matter is to enter or exit SCP-5XXX's cell. In the event of this happening, any personnel inside of Observation-5XXX are to observe events inside of SCP-5XXX's cell under the effect of Class-W mnestics. In the event of any abnormal behaviors from SCP-5XXX, Site-55 inhabitants are to electronically open the airlock door opening into SCP-5XXX's cell. All physical methods of opening the airlock are to then be deactivated. If SCP-5XXX enters the airlock during this procedure, the entrance to the airlock is to be barricaded off from entrance. If SCP-5XXX does not enter the airlock after one month, procedures are to be returned to their default state.

Description:
SCP-5XXX is a mass of information, memes, antimemes, and physical matter that cannot be observed without the use of mnestics. SCP-5XXX's main anomalous quality manifests when any tangible matter comes into contact with it. Upon coming into contact with SCP-5XXX, all matter, and thus the information that comprises that matter, that is coming into contact with it is instantaneously absorbed into SCP-5XXXs own mass³.

When under mnestics, SCP-5XXX is visible as a mass of matter of different makeups. The appearance of SCP-5XXX is constantly morphing, with matter appearing to elevate from lower sections of SCP-5XXXs body and replacing the matter above.

SCP-5XXX has shown the ability to vocalize at irregular intervals. Most of these vocalizations are comprised of incomprehensible tones. On occasion, these vocalizations will be comprehensible or otherwise understandable. For an incomplete list of these vocalizations, see Addendum 5XXX-3

+ Access Addendum-5XXX-1 - Discovery

SCP-5XXX and Site-55 were discovered on ██/██/████ in ███████, ██████ when an energy signature atypical for that region was detected by Foundation monitoring equipment. Foundation operatives were sent to the scene, and upon arrival, discovered SCP-5XXX contained inside of Site-55. After an investigation of Site-55, it was revealed that SCP-5XXX was the only anomaly contained within.

Incomplete list of objects recovered from Site-55 at time of discovery:

* Documents describing SCP-5XXX.
* Logs regarding events taking place from 5/5/205█ to 22/6/208█.
* A Foundation-issued laptop
* Multiple letters from Foundation employees⁴.
* Records of anomalies not in the Foundation's current database.
* Discarded food wrappers.
* Audio recordings detailing containment procedures for SCP-5XXX.
* Empty hygiene products.
* An Incident Report regarding SCP-5XXX.
* 1 human female, claiming to be a Foundation researcher identifying as Isabel Cook, who is working for the "Foundation Counterconceptual Division"

The human female was taken into Foundation custody for questioning and a temporary team of researchers were stationed at Site-55.

Earlier today the Foundation conducted a raid on one of those Fifth Church locations. I haven't been involved with "traditional" anomalies for awhile so I've been reading reports as they come out. It seems like some kind of anomaly was created from this, though. You can never be too sure though, with how much they've been redacting. I'm expecting to see this anomaly be in the main database by the end of the week.

Okay so…the anomaly might not be in the main database by the end of the week, maybe even by the end of the month. Some information got out that some of the Fifthiest guys vanished into thin air, along with some furniture in the church. This definitely sounds like some kind of antimemetic entity to me, or maybe some kind of rift? We'll probably butt in if the Foundation can't get this thing under control in a couple days

My prediction was correct! Apparently most of the church got swallowed up by whatever this thing is and our supervisors are sending out some people to at least get a /look/ at what this thing is. And I'm one of the lucky people to possibly die at the hands claws antimemetically cloaked appendages void of this thing.

Jesus Christ, that thing was absolutely disgusting. The general consensus around the CCD is that its taking in the matter of whatever touches it, so that's great.

So there have been multiple proposals so far for how to contain this thing, and so far only one thing seems plausible. Create an artificial hollow mountain/mound of dirt around it, support that with steel beams, and suspend it in the air with electromagnets. Honestly, I'm not sure if even that's going to work at this point, it's been around for too long at this point, and I've heard it's only gotten larger.

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX-1 is to be kept in a medically induced coma inside of a Standard Humanoid Containment Cell at Site-██. In the event that SCP-XXXX-1 expires, Foundation operatives are to investigate new cases of irrational behavior domestic abuse, and new members of The Fifth Church. Upon retrieving a new instance of SCP-XXXX-1, it is to be moved to Site-██ and put in a medically induced coma. All witnesses of the retrieval of the SCP-XXXX-1 instance are to be administered Class A amnestics.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a phenomenon that can affect all humans from the age of 16-80. SCP-XXXX will only affect humans if an instance of SCP-XXXX-1 is not currently active. In the event that an instance of SCP-XXXX-1 is not currently active, a human in the age range of 16-80 will cease to exist. After two weeks one week one day, the human will begin to re-exist as an SCP-XXXX-1 instance. The SCP-XXXX-1 instance will often make up an excuse for its prolonged absence, which all people will be inclined to believe at the time of its reappearance.
