SCP-XXXX's contamination zone within a brick factory.

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to remain quarantined under constant observation at Area 711. Area-71 consists of four designated outposts and a large perimeter wall that surrounds SCP-XXXX's contamination zone. Entry into this zone must be granted by the site command, and any trespassers must be terminated. Any personnel who display symptoms of SCP-XXXX are to be terminated immediately, and remains are to be disposed of according to protocol.

Any active instances of SCP-XXXX-1 are to be terminated after which the area is to be put on high alert for twenty-four hours. Any changes in SCP-XXXX-1's behavior are to be reported immediately. All security personnel enlisted at Area 71 are to be equipped with either high-caliber rifles or slug round shotguns.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a highly infectious airborne fungal disease which affects both flora and fauna. SCP-XXXX is quarantined in its point of origin; a 'London Brick', brick factory in southern England. The effects of SCP-XXXX begin ten minutes after the initial infection. Initial symptoms include tremors, breathing difficulties, fatigue, and extreme aggravation of the skin. Primary symptoms of SCP-XXXX occur fifteen minutes after infection, as large tumors grow across the subject's body.

These tumors are misshapen and have the appearance and properties of brick or clay. Tumors will often completely consume the afflicted's whole body, but all instances share a circular opening at the mouth. Often three to five centimeters wide.

From here on subjects are now fully host to SCP-XXXX (Hereafter SCP-XXXX-1). Upon successful infection; SCP-XXXX-1 will move to the next cycle of growth. SCP-XXXX-1 will attempt to gather with other SCP-XXXX-1 instances. If none are available SCP-XXX-1 will rest on the ground or nearest surface. A secondary growth cycle will then begin. Tumor growth will continue and fuse SCP-XXXX-1 with other instances, or the surface it is against.

Instances of SCP-XXXX-1 that merge with one another often will attempt to merge into a dome-like pile. All instances will face outwards and leave a hollow area within the center of the dome.
