Description SCP - 5025
Scp - 5025, also known as "The Melting Man" is an Euclid being that has no primary body nor facial features. Although, its body seems to release a tar like substance that has a dark brownish color, and is unknown to the scientist at the foundation, although its extremely similar to the same type of substance scp - 999 secretes. While scp - 999 tends to be drawn to humans and other entities, scp - 5021 will normally try to get as far as he can from humans and will make a deep moaning sound. Scp - 5021 is slow and slouches whenever it walks, but can move at speeds up to 35 to 50 miles per hour while being chase. this was examined in the foundation's attempt to capture this creature. While the field agents were in pursuit, scp - 5021 had been cornered into a the cliff side with no other route for escape. SCP - 5021 then started walking towards the rock face and the melted the rock, which lead to the scp's escape. SCP - 5021 was the spotted near site ██ in a dense swamp. Field agents shot tranquilizer darts at scp - 5021, which resulted in no effect towards the scp due to the darts melting on direct contact. SCP - 5021 then proceeded to run away from the field agents, in which lead to the agents chasing the creature. One specific agent known as Abram Swanson part of the ██████ team, now deceased, managed to catch up with the scp and tried to block it by firing multiple bullets at the scp. The bullets had no affect on scp - 5021 and then, shockingly, scp - 5021 slowed down and grabbed the agent's head, which lead to Abram's skin melting, and then the skull. The agents then lost scp - 5000 and the mission was cancelled.
Containment By order of the 05 council, scp - 5021 poses as a major threat to society, rather it being intentional or not, scp - 5021 needs to be contained by all means. If this fails, the 05 council has ordered that scp - 5021 should be exterminated, unless any possible forms of containment are discovered. After recent attempts of containment, scientist estimate that scp - 5021 creates a substance that has a temperature of 3000 to 4000 Fahrenheit. Scientist then designed a special cage from tantalum carbine. SCP - 5021 is then found in a forest area near site ██. A platoon of 20 agents were deployed near the area where scp - 5021 was found. 18 men strategically chased scp - 5021 towards an open area where 2 men waited, hiding behind the cage which had a designed scenery to look like a small cage. The capture was successful and scp - 5021 was taken to the nearby site ██.
Special Containment Procedures SCP - 5021 must be kept in his cell at all times, but in the event of a containment breach, site ██ has multiple emergency cells. 1 is located in light containment near checkpoint b, Two are in heavy, one near the checkpoint and one near 106's chamber. Then there are two in entrance, one near the exit at gate A and one near the exit at Gate B. Drills on containment for scp - 5021 are to be held regularly and strategic methods are to be preformed for multiple scenarios. The two closest sites ( sites ██ and ██ ) are to have at least to have at least one cell made from tantalum carbine. Even though bullets make no contact with the creature, scp - 5021 still seems to fear them.
Test A - 1
D - Class 5185 was sent into scp - 5000's chamber and was instructed to approach the scp. The scp faced the D - Class, and stared at it with it's sad distorted face. SCP - 5000 sensed that the D - Class was feeling worried and sad, the D - Class was in distress. SCP - 5000 then proceeded to stand up and walk toward the D - Class, but stopped within 2 feet of the D - Class. They just stared at each other for an hour. The D - Class was removed from the chamber, being stable and calm while being removed. The D - Class said that all scp - 5021 did was stare at him, moaning continuously, as if trying to talk to him. Test A - 1 resulted in no positive nor negative results.
**Test A - 2 **
D - Class 5185 was sent back into the containment cell, but while accompanied by a facility guard. SCP - 5021 looked the D - Class in a more calm and satisfied way, but was weary of the guard. The guard then proceeded to shoot scp - 5021, which lead to the scp making moaning sounds of distress. SCP - 5021 then backed away farther into the north - west corner of the cell and when the creature found no route of escape, then charged at the two. The security guard ran towards the entrance of the cell, leaving D - 5185 behind. SCP - 5021 then proceeded to chase after the guard, but the pushed aside the D - Class. D - 5185 then started screaming, holding his arm where the scp had pushed him. His arm was starting to turn into a similar substance such as scp - 5021. When the scp saw that there wasn't any other way to catch the guard, it turned to D - 5185, and walked slowly toward the D - Class. The D - Class was sitting in the south - west wall of the cell, holding his arm, crying. SCP - 5021 then bent down and examined the D - Class. the scp could tell the D - Class was suffering from his touch. SCP - 5021 then proceeded to do the following. SCP - 5021 placed his right hand on the D - Class's shoulder. The D - Class then loses all the color to his face and for a moment, stops breathing. SCP - 5021 then proceeds "to melt" off the D - 5185's arm off. the remains of the arm turned into the same type of substance as scp - 5185. After ten minutes, the small puddle of the mysterious substance began to move. It began to roll and slide around the room, being around the same size as scp - 999. This was the first recorded scp - 5021 - A. SCP - 5021 - A then proceeded to roll towards the D - Class, and attached itself to his exposed socket.It remained there for rive minutes. SCP - 5021 - A then began to form a arm that is similar to a human's arm, but remains the same color as scp - 5021. The prosthetic arm does secrete the same substance it was originally made of, but when they hit the floor, it then climbs up the D - Class to then reunite with the prosthetic arm.
D - 5185 was then taken out of the chamber and studied for 28 hours. Not many dangerous results were determined and the D - Class was taken back to his cell. During the 28 hours, scientist had tried to remove the prosthetic arm from the D - Class, but no process could remove the arm. Scientist then attempted to kill the D - Class, but whatever they tried, his wounds were healed by scp - 5021 - A. the test was very successful and produced many results.
Test 2
As mentioned before, scp - 5021 is made of a very similar substance such as scp - 999. Scientist placed scp - 999 in scp - 5021's containment cell. SCP - 5021 kept moaning, appearing depressed and sad towards scp - 999, which normally motivates scp - 999 to make the source, happy. When scp - 999 made contact with scp - 5021, both stopped making any sound. Both subjects than backed away from each other and stared at each other for an hour. When guards were sent into the cell to collect scp - 999, no aggression was observed from either subject. When scientist looked back at scp - 5021, it started laughing, and it's disfigured face made a form that made it seem like it was smiling. This seemed like an amazing sight, thinking scp - 5021 would be a lot less aggressive now, crying could be heard coming from scp - 999. Scientist were shocked and worried. They had never seen scp - 999 express any form of sadness or grief, and some claimed that they were afraid scp - 999 wouldn't express happiness again. After 24 hours of examination, scp - 999 and scp - 5021 both returned to their normal state.
Addendum 01:
On ██/██/████, there was a containment breach at site██. SCP - 5025 escaped from it's cell, along with 2 other scp subjects, the other ██ scp's cells remained closed. SCP - 5021 had been seen by various D - Class, guards, scientist, and a janitor. Multiple D - Class claim that scp -5021 would burn holes through checkpoints for them, along with the gates. SCP - 5021 and multiple D - Class would have escaped if Bravo 5 hadn't shown up to stop them. SCP - 5021 had been with 10 D - Class and one scientist, who was DR. Angela Wade a level 3 scientist. She had often talked to scp - 5021 about her day and would often go inside his cell to spend time with him. This continued for a month and scp - 5021 seemed to have smiled whenever she entered the cell. Bravo 5 contained the 10 D - Class, and DR. Wade escorted scp - 5021 back to it's cell. She claimed that the only reason she hadn't done it during the containment breach was because she was worried of what the D - Class might do if scp - 5021 wasn't there to protect her. The other scp subject was scp - 999, who simply roamed around for a while. No one was harmed and all faculty weren't hurt it any way. Its proven that it might be effective to try to get other scps comfortable with at least 1 faculty member, it would make scps more willing and comfortable. This case has been taken to the 05 council for discussion.
