Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is kept in a standard containment locker at Site-19. Testing must be approved by the head researcher.
Description: SCP-XXXX resembles a slot machine mass produced by ██████████ in 19██ branded "SPACE FLIGHT". The object deviates from the typical design in its three (3) reels each numbered from zero (0) to nine (9) instead of the normal symbols. Its anomalous properties manifest after four (4) quarters are inserted into the machine and the lever is pulled. The reels on the object will display a number between zero (0) and nine hundred ninety-nine (999) that quantifies the luck of the entity that activated the machine. After five (5) seconds, the credit meter changes to reflect the the sum of the previous number displayed by the credit meter and the value of the most recent quantification of luck.
A button above the reel is camouflaged through non-anomalous means. When pressed by any living organism, the aforementioned entity will have their luck increased to the amount displayed on the credit meter at the time, resetting the credit meter to zero (0). It is unclear at this time if the machine is unable to display values above nine hundred ninety-nine (999) or if luck as defined by the object cannot reach an amount of one thousand (1 000) or above.
