BRIEF DESCRIPTION(S):
SCP-1200-12
Discovery and seizure of SCP-1200 are performed by FDA under CFR Title 21. Once in the possession of FDA, the recovered samples are to be replaced by non-anomalous duplicates and transferred to Site-197.
SCP-1200 designates all chewing gum distributed under the "Tastes Like Chewing Gum" brand. Packages of SCP-1200 periodically appear in various stores across the United States. The logo present on the packaging identifies the gum's manufacturer as "The Factory".
When an SCP-1200 sample is masticated by a human subject, the sample's anomalous effects will manifest. The particulars and the duration of the effects vary based on the flavor of the sample. Currently, 83 flavors of SCP-1200 have been documented. Swallowing SCP-1200 samples does not produce any further anomalous effects.
SCP-914
SCP-914 is a large clockwork device weighing several tons and covering an area of eighteen square meters, consisting of screw drives, belts, pulleys, gears, springs and other clockwork. It is incredibly complex, consisting of over eight million moving parts comprised mostly of tin and copper, with some wooden and cloth items observed. Observation and probing have showed no electronic assemblies or any form of power other than the “Mainspring” under the “Selection Panel”. Two large booths 3mx2.1mx2.1m (10ftx7ftx7ft) are connected via copper tubes to the main body of SCP-914, labeled “Intake” and “Output”. Between them is a copper panel with a large knob with a small arrow attached. The words Rough, Coarse, 1:1, Fine, and Very Fine are positioned at points around the knob. Below the knob is a large “key” that winds the “mainspring”.
When an object is placed in the Intake Booth, a door slides shut, and a small bell sounds. If the knob is turned to any position and the key wound up, SCP-914 will “refine” the object in the booth. No energy is lost in the process, and the object appears to be in stasis until the Output Booth door is opened. Intense observation and testing have not shown how SCP-914 accomplishes this, and no test object has ever been observed inside SCP-914 during the “refining” process. The process takes between five and ten minutes, depending on the size of the object being refined.

QUESTION:
What happens when you combine SCP-1200’s effects with a setting from 914?
Sub-Question: The setting used will be Very Fine.
HYPOTHESIS: While I cannot predict exactly what will happen, I believe all subjects will be able to pass through SCP-914 without any problems. SCP-1200 doesn't last permanently, so I believe everything will be fine.
THE PROCESS:
DOCTOR VAUGHN'S LOG: TEST FILE 0-11-2
Myself, 2 Security Guards, and 6 Class-D Subjects were led to SCP-1200's chamber inside the light containment zone. Once all personnel was inside safely, all Class-D were briefed once more by myself, and allowed to enter SCP-1200's chamber one at a time. All CD were promptly escorted inside the containment chamber, each CD being given specific designations of what gum to ingest and when to exit the chamber after done eating. In gum flavor order:
CD-1 (White Male, 34, Brown Short Hair) ingested the green gum, SCP-1200-12. Subject's appearance changed, most noticeably his skin color. Skin color changed from a light tan color to a dark neon green. Subject also reported tasting "lemons" in the air.
CD-2 (White Male, 27, Brown Medium Hair) ingested the yellow gum, SCP-1200-15. Subject began to emit an extremely bright light, blinding multiple CDs and staff members. Effects subsided after 3 minutes.
CD-3 (Korean Male, 36, Black Medium Hair) ingested the multi-colored gum, SCP-1200-29. For 210 minutes, subject was able to rearrange segments of his body. Effects could not be reverted after rearrangement of body parts.
CD-4 (Hispanic Male, 41, Short Brown Hair) ingested the dark blue gum, SCP-1200-30. Subject's orange jumpsuit immediately swapped, transforming into a researcher's uniform. No items were on CD-4's person.
CD-5 (White Male, 32, Long Red Hair) ingested the white gum, SCP-1200-58. Subject's skin color immediately changed from a dark tan to an extremely pale white. Subject's skin was "very glossy and metallic" and "really hard."
CD-6 (Chinese Male, 53, Black Medium Hair) ingested the dark red gum, SCP-1200-62. Subject's visibility quickly diminished. Subject was transparent, very hard to see, was still able to interact with objects.
After all subjects ingested the gun, our group left SCP-1200's containment chamber and we all headed to SCP-914's chamber. Subjects were led to SCP-914's chamber inside the moderate containment zone. Once all personnel was inside safely, all Class-D and staff were briefed once more by myself, and allowed to enter SCP-914's chamber all together.
Once inside, all of the Class-D Personnel were instructed to enter 914 one at a time to prevent merging or complications. SCP-914's dial was set on the setting "VERY FINE" for the test.
CD-1 entered SCP-914 on the setting "VERY FINE." CD-1 returned, transparent and in a gaseous state. CD-1's speed was also altered, being twice as fast than before. No harmful effects were produced.
CD-2 entered SCP-914 on the setting "VERY FINE." CD-2 returned, transparent and in a gaseous state. CD-2's speed was also altered, being twice as fast than before. No harmful effects were produced.
CD-3 entered SCP-914 on the setting "VERY FINE." CD-3 returned, with no changes. SCP-914 was not able to affect CD-3 due to their body altercations. CD-3 was entered 3 more times before foundation staff left him alone for the remainder of the test.
CD-4 entered SCP-914 on the setting "VERY FINE." CD-4 returned, transparent and in a gaseous state. CD-4's speed was also altered, being twice as fast than before. No harmful effects were produced.
CD-5 entered SCP-914 on the setting "VERY FINE." CD-5 returned, transparent and in a gaseous state. CD-5's speed was also altered, being twice as fast than before. No harmful effects were produced.
CD-6 entered SCP-914 on the setting "VERY FINE." CD-6 returned, transparent and in a gaseous state. CD-6's speed was also altered, being twice as fast than before. No harmful effects were produced.
All Class-D were terminated afterwards by order of Dr. ███████. The test was concluded shortly after.
CONCLUSION: My hypothesis was proven to be correct, SCP-1200's effects did not affect testing on SCP-914. However, subjects who ingested SCP-1200-29 were not affected by 914, due to body altercations.
