Object Class: Keter
Forward The contained entity (known to outsiders as 'Ty'ranex') is a Keter class reptile who was located by local militants operating within the Philippine islands during world war 2. The entity managed to subdue an unknown number of operatives and was observed in possession of crude armor and propellant weapons before succumbing to the effects of the experimental sedative BX-C98.

'Ty'ranex' was transported via freight train and immediately subjected to default contamination procedures at SIHO (safety institution for hazardous organisms). Unknown to the local staff of the intelligence possessed by the creature, numerous breaches created the awareness for a more secure approach. Enter the SCP.
Special Containment Procedures: Upon arrival at the SCP facility, 'Ty'ranex' was doused with the only effective sedative BX-C98. The specimen is to be kept under heavy sedation (except in events of testing) due to the astounding powers of ingenuity shown by the creature (logs and examples are shown below). In an attempt to tackle the challenge of keeping the creature alive while remaining unconscious the team hardwired an experimental deprivation system to the creature's brain to allow them to shut of nervous systems to the muscles. To activate this system, open the first airlock into the containment chamber. This action tells the computer to deactivate the sedation system while also isolating the neural transmissions to the muscles of 'Ty'ranex'. Only staff with a level clearance of 4 or higher are permitted to access the containment chamber.
IMPORTANT: Assistance of another staff member with a level clearance of 3 or higher is always required to check activation transmissions. On several occasions, the Creature has managed to fool the computer into thinking that transmissions have dropped to zero making the computer stop the hardwired system. In recent activity, several casualties have occurred to the mishandling of this entity.
A special diet is required for this entity due to an ability possessed by its gastric tract. The creature can on command regurgitate solid food mixed with a reactant produced within a respiratory gland to melt various metals and other substances. To counter this habit, only vitamins C, A, K minerals, Omega 1, and 2, potassium, and water with a BASE content of -4 (PH-14) are allowed to be consumed by 'Ty'ranex'.
In the unlikely event of 'Ty'ranex' consuming Flesh or other organic material, the unit is equipped with a mucous membrane capable of withstanding attack from acid with a Level of +14 (PH+18) or greater. During rupture, because 'Ty'ranex' is a cognitohazard, the evacuation of all SPC personal is required to evacuate the units surrounding the containment chamber. Soundproof rubber suits are provided in case of an unprotected encounter. The chamber itself is soundproof and heavily fortified against attacks of brute strength, withstanding 23 psi of force.
Due to 'Ty'ranex' displaying an active personality, humane efforts have been made to provide the entity with enjoyment. A period of 2 hours a day is allocated for recreation and free will. During periods of calm, an isolated island in the pacific (Off the coast of New Zealand (Approximately-35.56, 175.63)) where extended trips up to two weeks are held. These trips are to be acknowledged by a level 4 personnel. 'Ty'ranex' is also encouraged to socialize with other members within the SCP facility, 'Ty'ranex' will watch SCP-939 intently and even shows a positive emotional attachment to SCP-053. Subjects exposed to 'Ty'ranex' are carefully protected in case of behaviors that the creature views as hostile and other Keter class entities are not to be exposed to 'Ty'ranex' due to the risk of harm to both parties.
Description: When the entity was discovered in the Philippine islands it possessed a rudimentary armor system and basic propellant weapons and seemed to understand the forces behind them.
The creature stands 2 meters tall and 7 meters long, a meter neck supports a reptilian head. The creature stands in a birdlike stance and has long arms that boast hooked claws 40 centimeters in length (during the free time 'Ty'ranex' is often observed sharping such claws). A 4-meter tail supports the weight of a creature and provides balance. The creature's weight presently is 160 Kg and has been observed on the Pacific island sprinting at speeds of 80 Mph.
The coloration of 'Ty'ranex is currently Dark green but annually fades to a dull grey. The gender of 'Ty'ranex is female and is apparently self-fertile. Nine offspring are contained within the facility. The creature posses two crests where an echolocation chamber is located.
Natural weapons include talons, multiple fangs, and 'Ty'ranex's' acid regurgitation function, a pit organ located in the neck secretes a substance that reacts with organic matter creating a highly acidic, transparent (depending on matter ingested) fluid.
Within the echolocation chamber 'Ty'ranex' can create a variety of sounds, most of which cannot be heard by the human ear. A certain pitch generated by this chamber shuts human neural transmissions rendering the victim unconscious indefinitely. Due to this echolocation chamber, 'Ty'ranex' can easily transverse complex environments and locate prey in the absence of light.
The entity's most effective weapon is located within an armored cavity in the skull. Although the brain is the size of an adult's fist, it posses an Intelligence quota (IQ) of over 1300+. This brain has ultimate control over reflexes and can shut down on will. Several escape attempts have been made using this remarkable feature.
Behaviors and other abilities: Curiously, although no other specimens of the entity have been located in the wild, 'Ty'ranex' and others of her kind seem to inherit knowledge genetically. The offspring of 'Ty'ranex' posses 'Ty'ranex's knowledge, being shared through their genetic code. Astoundingly 'Ty'ranex' has a remarkable sense of hygiene and understands infectious substances. After this became apparent, the chamber was equipped with a basic sanitation system.
As such, the entity is highly vulnerable to viruses and an engineered weapon is being developed to stop the spread of kinds similar to 'Ty'ranex' if the need ever becomes apparent, rendering them infertile.
'Ty'ranex' has deep emotional bonds, consistently protecting other entities such as SCP-053 from her handlers and displays emotions such as Fear, Frustration, Anger, and Compassion. it is thought that the entity shares the same thought reflex as humans and other animals, preventing them from eating their offspring. This prevents the entity from attacking youth and multiple other entities.
