SCP-A is covered in a hair like pigment similar to the fibers found on the Dionaea Muscipula plant. It is an ambush predator which lays in wait among other ground base plant on its native island of . SCP-A is extremely hostile to most organic life except for fauna. On SCP-A’s tail is a series of tiny strands of plant matter with a black ball at the end of it. These balls have been designated SCP-B due to their purpose. If SCP-A comes into contact with any animal life that isn’t plant based then it will attack and consume them. The reason SCP- does this is unknown though researchers suspect that it is to make SCP-B .Once eaten SCP-A has eaten the organism SCP-B on the end of its tail will glow and drop to the floor. If the surface is soil SCP-B will burrow into the ground by unknown means. SCP-B will then grow into a plant approximately 2.5 meters tall in a period of 2 months. Small bulbs on the end of each stem will grow and develop of the plants short lifetime. After a period of 72 hours they are fully developed and will drop to the floor. A adolescent version of SCP-A will emerge from the bulb and grow to full size within a month and continue the cycle. They are resistant to all forms of ammunition except incendiary rounds or fire. They also seem to be susceptible to colder temperatures slowing down their aggression and activity.
