Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX-2 is not to be contained1 to be contained in a highly monitored containment unit and supplied regularly with non-hazardous foods, water, and supplies to help the subject continue its research. Due to high levels of cooperation and received intel, most notably by notifying staff-members of an upcoming containment breach, successfully preventing it, SCP-XXXX-2 has been granted Level-█ security clearance. If the subject is to leave from its containment unit, it is to be escorted by at least two security officers. SCP-XXXX-2 is to be kept as far away as possible from potentially hazardous anomalies, unless strictly necessary. SCP-XXXX-2 is not to bare any offspring unless decided otherwise by the O5 Council. After the events of 12/18/201█, SCP-XXXX's class has been changed to Thaumiel.
SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-3 are not to be contained due to the absence of anomalies, confirmed
respectively on 09/03/201█ and 08/29/201█.
Description: The following will describe SCP-XXXX and its instances.
SCP-XXXX: SCP-XXXX is an anomaly of unknown origin and form, currently believed to manifest in SCP-XXXX-2. Interviews and passed events show, that SCP-XXXX is hereditary and is inherited from the mother of the newborn subject unless the newborn is a male. Testing of SCP-XXXX is currently impossible impractical, because of its anomalies manifesting only after the expiration of its host. Once SCP-XXXX-2 has expired, it's consciousness will be transported to the moment of the subject's birth, retaining all memories. It is unclear at the moment, how or if this effect takes place, due to the subject being alive as of now. However, there are speculations2.
SCP-XXXX-1: SCP-XXXX-1 was a human female born in 05/25/197█. The subject seems to be the first one in its family tree to express the symptoms of SCP-XXXX. It gave birth to SCP-XXXX-2 in 05/16/199█ and SCP-XXXX-3 in 06/21/200█. The subject successfully expired in 09/03/201█, confirming that SCP-XXXX is inherited and will change hosts after the birth of a female child.
SCP-XXXX-2: SCP-XXXX-2, also known as Dr. Wolf, is a 1,71 m tall human female born in 16/05/199█. Dr. Wolf is a valued member of the Foundation, whose anomalies became apparent when it insisted to be interviewed by the Site Director of Site-██, who has been a member of the Foundation since 19██3. Testing of SCP-XXXX-2 is possible with MRI scans, electrotherapy, [DATA REDACTED] and various other [DATA REDACTED]. So far, these methods show no lasting effect on the subject and are thus considered safe.
SCP-XXXX-3: SCP-XXXX-3 was a human female born in 06/21/200█. During its life, the subject didn't show any signs of being affected by SCP-XXXX, hinting to the possibility, that SCP-XXXX can inhabit only one host at a time. This was confirmed after the subject's expiration in 08/29/201█.

The following files document the interviews, anomalies, incidents, and speculations regarding SCP-XXXX. Note, that all of the following documents are strictly for personnel with Level-5/XXXX security clearance only. All personnel accessing these documents without the required clearance are subject to extermination. Proceed with caution.
Interviewed:Dr. Wolf
Interviewer: The Site Director of Site-██
Foreword: In █/█/200█, Dr. Wolf insisted on being interviewed by her Site Director.
<Begin Log>
SD: This interview is being recorded by the request of Dr. Wolf. State the reason for this interview.
Dr.Wolf: I need this information to be documented, as it has been many times before. That said, I've been keeping a secret. I waited this long so you could understand, that I have no bad intentions and that you can trust me.[DATA EXPUNGED]. I assume you don't know what it means, as you haven't before and probably never will. The Council knows, contact them.
After delivering the information to the O5 Council, Code-██4 was ordered to take effect. The interview continues.
SD: State your number, class, Special Containment Procedures and additional information about yourself.
Dr.Wolf: SCP-XXXX-2, Class: Euclid. Usually not contained, sometimes terminated immediately. I have worked in Site-██ for a total of 94 years. Every time the staff is different, for a few minor exceptions. The reason I insisted talking specifically to you, is that you have worked here since I was born, hence you have been the Site Director every time, except for a few, when you were dead or retired. I must add, that my termination will result in me waking up at the moment of my birth, rendering the time during which I was alive non-existent, except for my memories. So, terminating me wouldn't serve any use for you. But I ask you to take this as seriously as I do. This time I have a little sister. If I die, she will never be born.
SD: Thank you for your information, although it has to be studied further to be confirmed. Do you have any additional information that the Foundation has to be made aware of?
Dr.Wolf: Yes. I would like to report an upcoming containment breach caused by SCP-████ in 12/18/201█. The [DATA REDACTED] will breach [DATA REDACTED], activating it's offense mechanisms. [DATA EXPUNGED], creating a vortex [DATA REDACTED], comparable to a mass extinction. I can't let this happen again. I can't let my sister… (pauses) not exist!
SD: Thank you for your cooperation. The Council will be notified.
<End Log>
Closing Statement: Due to the highly exceptional utilization of Code-██, Dr. Wolf is instructed to continue her research as normal, while the O5 Council decides her fate. The documentation of SCP-XXXX and preparations to prevent the containment breach of 12/18/201█ begin.
SCPs involved: SCP-XXXX-2 and SCP-XXXX-3
Date: 08/29/201█
Preamble: The following describes the incident, following which, the containment procedures of SCP-XXXX-2 had to be changed.
Description:
[07:51] The Foundation was notified of a hit-and-run incident involving SCP-XXXX-3.
[08:06] The subject arrives at the ██████ Children's Hospital.
[08:14] The subject expires due to major injuries.
[08:32] SCP-XXXX-2 receives word of SCP-XXXX-3's death.
[08:33] SCP-XXXX-2 shows signs of grief, following a state of psychosis, during which the subject tries to violently acquire a gun from a security officer.
[08:35] The subject is sedated and transported to a medical unit.Closing Statement: Following these events, SCP-XXXX-2 had to be moved to a containment unit and containment procedures had to be changed to avoid any further attempts of self-termination. The subject was decided not to administer any memory altering memetic agents, due to a risk of neutralizing SCP-XXXX. Site-██'s Director has been given Level 5/XXXX security clearance. From this point forward, SCP-XXXX-2 is not to access any files regarding SCP-XXXX and its instances.
As of now, it is not known, what causes the SCP-XXXX instances. Speculations are as follows:
Dr. ███'s proposal: SCP-XXXX is a parasitic entity, depending on its host for survival. The time-altering aspect of the parasite may derive from its evolutionary need for survival.
Note: MRI scans have shown no noticeable anomalies in the brain and blood samples have shown no abnormalities in the subject's bloodstream. Most probably, this proposal is false.
Site-██ Director's proposal: SCP-XXXX is an entity equipped with [DATA REDACTED] for inter-dimensional travel. After the subject's expiration, SCP-XXXX copies its memories and travels to a different reality or an alternate dimension, where it implants the memories into a new subject.
Note: While this proposal is probable, we have no means to confirm it with.
Dr. Wolf's proposal: SCP-XXXX is not actually an SCP. The anomaly is a side-effect from coming to contact with another SCP, such as [DATA REDACTED]. If the Foundation were to find the source of the anomaly, it would be possible to neutralize SCP-XXXX-2.
Note: This is the most probable proposal, but no steps will be taken to neutralize the subject. This way SCP-XXXX-1 can act as a final kill switch if all else fails.
The following describes the preparations, process, and results of a planned impregnation of SCP-XXXX-2:
Conditions: SCP-XXXX-2 will become subject to impregnation once one of the following conditions is met:
- The subject reaches the age of 40.
- The O5 Council decides, considering the risk of an emergency scenario5, an optimal date of impregnation.
Preparations: The subject will be moved to a high-security containment unit. Once secured, SCP-XXXX-2 will be briefed on the plan and sedated if necessary.
Process: SCP-XXXX-2 will be artificially inseminated to ensure a low risk of difficulties during childbirth and diseases. SCP-XXXX-2's and its fetus' vitals will be inspected throughout the pregnancy.
The child: If the fetus develops male reproductive organs, it is to be exterminated. If the newborn is a female, it is to be separated from SCP-XXXX-2 and to be designated SCP-XXXX-4. SCP-XXXX-4 is not to learn about its mother or SCP-XXXX until decided by the O5 Council.
The following describes the countermeasures and process of an unplanned impregnation of SCP-XXXX-2:
Countermeasures: If SCP-XXXX-2 becomes impregnated against the will of the O5 Council, the subject will be moved to a high-security containment unit. Once secured, SCP-XXXX-2 will not be briefed on the plan and sedated if necessary.
Process: SCP-XXXX-2's and its fetus' vitals will be inspected throughout the pregnancy. The subject will not be notified of the state or the gender of its child.
The child: If the fetus develops male reproductive organs, it is to be exterminated. If the newborn is a female, it is to be separated from SCP-XXXX-2 and to be designated SCP-XXXX-4 after which SCP-XXXX-2 is to be exterminated immediately. SCP-XXXX-4 is not to learn about its mother or SCP-XXXX until decided by the O5 Council.
The following is a list of emergency scenarios, in case of which this document is to be made public in case when the subject is missing or housed in a different facility. Following the publication of the document SCP-XXXX-2 is to be terminated immediately and without any hesitation to avoid any possibility of SCP-XXXX becoming neutralized.
- Sensitive information coming to the possession of a time altering entity.
- After a catastrophic event, resulting in the eradication of most of the Foundation's research and multiple containment breaches that can no longer be contained.
- After a catastrophic event, resulting in a scenario, where the continuation of the human race is rendered impossible.
