Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5992 is to be contained in a 30 cm x 30 cm x 30 cm Steel cube at all times inside of a 5 m x 5 m x 5 m Concrete wall 1 m in thickness in Site-██ There are no apparent risks whilst SCP-5992 is inside of its containment chamber. Dr. ███ must be present if containment doors are to be opened.
Description: In appearance, SCP-5992 resembles a Gecko, with a wide variety of changing colours going across its body, going in the specific pattern of a rainbow, Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet. SCP-5992 was originally discovered in 1912 when a Middle aged man discovered SCP-5992 and was its first victim.
Addendum: SCP-5992 will transport any living being that touches it into a pocket dimension of which no test subject has returned from. The only way to physically handle SCP-5992 is by wearing thick leather gloves.SCP-5992 appears to have telekinetic abilities (see SCP-5992 Test 20).
Additional Notes SCP-5992 is classed as Euclid due to the unknown location. Further testing is required to understand SCP-5992's purpose. Any contact with SCP-5992 MUST be done with the person interacting with SCP-5992 wearing Thick leather gloves as to avoid an instance of SCP-5992-L appearing. It appears that SCP-5992 can touch any other part of a human being apart from the hands. All possible instances of SCP-5992 are listed bellow followed by their mental state.
SCP-5992-A (Less than 5 Minutes): Very Stable and Keeps all memories.

Foreword: First test with human life on SCP-5992. First instance of SCP-5992-L.
<Begin Log> D-72338 has been given a device that allows him to alert all nearby staff of any threat inside of the testing facility. D-72338 has not been given any gloves for the experiment.
Dr. ███: Ok D-72338, Open the Door entering SCP-5992’s Containment Chamber.
D-72338: Alright then. (pause) Hey, do I get to have a few days off since I’m testing a new SCP for the first time?
Dr. ███: Yes, you should be given a few days off.
D-72338: Okay, I’m inside. There’s a box here. Do you want me to open it?
Dr. ███: Yes, if you feel any change in environment or see anything out of place then please press the button on the device given to you before the experiment.
D-72338: Oh. there’s some sort of lizard in the box.
Dr. ███: Please describe the creature inside of the test chamber.
D-72338: Uh, its a Gecko with really strange skin, it looks like its the colours of the rainbow, but the colours are going across its body like a slideshow.
Dr. ███: Please interact with the SCP.

(D-72338 suddenly disappears shortly after attempting to pick up SCP-5992. A Male Humanoid appears shortly after D-72338 entered SCP-5992’s pocket dimension)
Dr. ███: Hello there, please state your name for us.
(The Male Humanoid stares at Dr. ███ through the glass and Breaks it with his bare hands. Dr. ███ escapes the room before security in to contain the Humanoid.
<End Log> All equipment D-72338 was wearing was taken with him. The Male subject is now code named SCP-5992-L and all subjects that stay inside of SCP-5992’s pocket dimension for longer than 60 minutes are referred to as instances of SCP-5992-L.
Closing Statement: Further tests were conducted with the test subject’s wearing different types of gloves and the test subjects all repeated the same quote, "Ya know what, I used to have a pet Gecko when I was younger. It looked kinda…" before disappearance. Subject SCP-5992-L has been terminated due to lack of containment possibility.

Foreword: First D-class to return from the Pocket Dimension. First instance of SCP-5992-A.

Dr. ███: D-19266 Enter the test chamber.
D-19266: Okay. (Pause) Where is the other guy?
Dr. ███: We are unsure as of this moment.
D-19266: Oh.
Dr. ███: Please describe what you see before you.
D-19266: Uh, its a lizard kinda thing, with a rainbow pattern going across it.

(D-19266 picks up SCP-5992 and disappears. Shortly after D-19266 disappears, D-72338 appears in place of D-19266)

D-72338: Uh yeah, I think so.
Dr. ███: Could you describe the location that you were transported to in detail.
D-72338: Oh, umm, it was isolated, barren, with almost nothing in sight for miles, no trees, no bushes, nothing. Everything was so… bland.

Closing Statement: It appears as though the dimension SCP-5992 contains within it can only withhold One (1) Human life-form.

Foreword: First instance of SCP-5992-I.
<Begin Log> D-53199 was given a pair of wooden gloves and was sent in 43 minutes after D-19266.

Closing Statement: Spending more than 43 minutes inside of SCP-5992’s pocket dimension causes loss of fear and hallucinations. Though no other references to these creatures have been logged, it appears that all instances of SCP-5992-I see different creatures during their time in SCP-5992’s pocket dimension.

Foreword: First Successful test to interact with SCP-5992.

Dr. ███: D-49364 Please enter the open Chamber before you.

Dr. ███: We don't know as of this moment.

(D-49364 Gently picks up SCP-5992 and starts stroking its head.)

Dr. ███: Please describe what you see.

D-98220: Uh… it looks like some sorta lizard with weird Rainbow patterns on it.

(D-98220 Gently picks up SCP-5992 and starts stroking its head.)

Dr. ███: Place SCP-5992 onto your bare arm.
D-98220: Man this is Bull shit, I know what happened to everyone else that touched this thing with their bare skin.
Dr. ███: May I remind you that once you deny a command I am obliged to terminate you.
D-98220: Alright alright. I’m puttin it on my arm.
(D-98220 puts SCP-5992 onto his arm and suddenly becomes very friendly to SCP-5992.)
D-98220: Aww who’s a cute little guy, yes you are, oh yes you are.
Dr. ███: D-98220 stop playing with SCP-5992 and place it back inside of its container.
(D-98220 does not respond.)
Dr. ███: D-98220?
(D-98220 starts to remove his gloves and lets SCP-5992 move down his arm towards his hand.)
Dr. ███: Guards move in and retrieve SCP-5992 and place it back inside of its containment cell.
(D-98220 is taken into SCP-5992’s pocket dimension and D-31487 appears from inside the dimension.)
Dr. ███: D-31487, welcome back. it has been 28 minutes, how are you feeling?
D-31487: Uh, feel good, where Jeremy?
Dr. ███: Who is Jeremy.
D-31487: Where Jeremy! Show Jeremy!
(D-31487 started getting agitated and was sedated shortly after. D-31487 was placed into a special Containment room with the word ‘JEREMY’ written multiple times on each wall and ceiling.)

SCP-5992 Log-1
Subject put up for testing: Macaques Monkey
Results: The Macaques was placed inside the testing chamber and locked in for 10 minutes. Subject seemed calm for 2 minutes then immediately started cannibalising itself until both arms and legs were pure bone and bits of blood. Subject was unresponsive as soon as it got within 5 meters of SCP-5992.
