Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5120 is to be continuously monitored by all on site personnel available. civilian access is prohibited within a 5 kilometre radius of the object.
The presence of at least 50 guards is required unless the object is successfully neutralized.
Surrounding areas of SCP-5120 is to be artificially set to 60 degrees Fahrenheit along side a humidity rate of 27%. If these procedures are not met, the forests distortion will begin to spread from its center. In the event of a system failure all civilians within a 10 kilometre radius are to be vacated to a secure location until further notice.
All documents on SCP-5120 are restricted to personnel with higher that level 4 security clearance. In the event of someone obtaining information about SCP-5120 that does not posses the required clearance will be detained and demoted to a Class-D for an uncertain period of 4-20 months.
Description: SCP-5120 is a temperate coniferous forest located in Northampton, Pennsylvania. Multiple anomalous properties are reported from the forest although all of them consist of some reality bending ability that appears to get supplementary more extreme the greater the distance a subject ventures in. At approximately 1 kilometre from the entrance on the north side of the forest, its reality warping properties become very apparent. such examples include many of the trees appear to retain a static like effect although this does not effect its physical plane whatsoever.
All test subjects that are recorded to go past the 3 kilometre mark experience many trees and some of the wildlife of the forest begin to contort and bend in unnatural ways that a fairly average tree can simply not without its trunk breaking or multiple branches falling.
At the 5 kilometre mark, any multicellular organism begins to what many personnel describe as a "glitch" or a "spas". the reason for this phenomenon is currently unknown and requires further research to obtain a reasonable thesis. this is also the point where some of the common laws of physics seize to enforce any limitations of the forests physical plain.
At 7 Kilometres, the forest abruptly ends with an apparent void in the space beyond this point.
Although multiple subjects have managed to reach this point. none have attempted to return, seaming to be a lack of higher functionality of the brain believed to be a result of the subject being contorted and warped beyond return.

Uhm how to start… Well uh, most of this will be [REDACTED] by the 05, but here it goes. The 05 somehow considered the idea the 5120-9 log, 682, yes, 682 was flown to the center of 5120, this went surprisengly well, the first part that is. the properties of the forest didnt seem to have an effect on the helicopter, strange but nothing to strange, 682 didnt seem to think so. once it was placed into 5120 center 682 began to [REDACTED UNDER 05 COMMAND]. Its been days and its still recovering.
What we have learned is that unless it was exposed to 5120 long enough, I think we might have a solution

Dr. Taichman: So, you have came to discuss an idea of yours?
Dr. Denali: Indeed, Class change sir.
Dr. Taichman: Yes, Continue.
Dr. Denali: I believe that 5120's ability to seemingly consume subjects at a certain point that it could be used to neutralize most of the anomalies we have in containment, If this is true it wouldn't be out of reason to re-class its as thaumiel.
Dr. Taichman: intriguing, proceed.
Dr. Denali: again. this might just be a possibility regarding the fact that currently no-one has been reported to exit to so called point of no return, leading me to believe this would also apply to entities such as 682.
Dr. Taichman: Sounds promising although I doubt that the 05 would find it that way considering 5120 is a new skip.
Dr. Denali: And about 5120, if my idea were to be executed, if something went wrong would it be a big deal or just hickup, Just a question, do you think its worth it?
Dr. Taichman: Me? No, I think if something where to go wrong, shit would hit the fan, dont forget that it does have the ability to spread if not properley contained. Again we dont know much about it.
Dr. Denali: Fair, Fair.. Wait? if it can spread that means its surface area is not limited to what it currently is, in theory we should be able to push it back so to speak.
Dr. Taichman: Good point, but if you do want to re-classify it to thaumiel then why would you want to destroy it?
Dr. Denali: If it where to be re-classified as such, then it would be reasonable to think its dangerous, considering you think its not out of the question that it could possibly destroy skips such as 682.
