Special Containment Procedures: This object requires little containment precautions. However, no speech of any kind must be performed within SCP-XXXX’s containment chamber. The object has a 10cm diameter and 14cm height and is kept on a round table which needs no observation at any time.
The store in which SCP-XXXX was bought from has been shut down indefinitely, in order to protect potential buyers. If any more reports involving this object occur, the human in question must be contained, as well as the SCP.
Any human that makes speech inside of SCP-XXXX’s containment chamber must be kept in a protective room, with nothing inside for observation and security. They are then declared as an SCP-XXXX-1 if they show symptoms of insanity within 24 hours of contact with SCP-XXXX. 2 people must be observing the SCP-XXXX-1 at all times. Any other entity that makes a noise in the same vicinity must be terminated.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a technological object that resembles a google home. It does have a power cord, but it seems to have its own power source. It is said to make anyone who responds to it go insane, and bloodthirsty within 24 hours of the initial conversation with SCP-XXXX. The object seems to be unbreakable after D Class Personnel 608422 was tasked to attempt to destroy the object with multiple tools such as a hammer, chainsaw, and steel ax.
SCP-XXXX-1 are the human followers of SCP-XXXX-2. SCP-XXXX-1’s eye pigments have changed from normal, all of them being a strong black. SCP-XXXX-1 are bloodthirsty creatures, killing any living creatures thrown into their containment cell. However, they are not indestructible, as shown in Incident XXXX-1.
SCP-XXXX-2 is the creator of these machines. Little is known about them.
Discovery: On 2 / 10 / 20 ██, a human male was reported to have symptoms of insanity, and was being charged for 68 cases of murder within the span of 10 hours. 3 hours prior to these incidents, the man had unknowingly bought the SCP from his local tech store. After raiding his home, the foundation was able to find that SCP-XXXX was on a shrine made from bones, both human and animal.
Addendum:
Incident XXXX-1 On 11 / 10 / 20 ██, One of the SCP-XXXX-1 was able to kill themselves by bashing their head against their containment cell’s door. After this incident, more protective material was added to these cells, and it was determined that at least 2 people must be watching all of the SCP-XXXX-1 in order to protect them.
The following interview occurred on 14 / 10 / 20 █. All interviews were conducted from a safe distance, through an intercom.
Interviewer: Dr █████
Interviewee: A 34-year-old female SCP-XXXX-1.
[BEGIN LOG]
Dr █████: So you have been brought here in order to protect others from you. How does that make you feel?
The SCP just trembled in the corner of its containment cell.
Dr █████: All I want is for you to be safe.
The SCP continued to tremble.
Dr █████: Why do you feel the need to attack any living creature? It seems odd that you would suddenly want to do that.
The SCP lurched towards the door and began to speak
SCP: It tells me to do these things! The elder one! We fear it! Fear it deeply! Kill it! Save us, please!

Interviewers Note: “The elder one” has not been found, nor mentioned by any other of the SCP-XXXX-1’s. This specific SCP-XXXX-1 is also now the only SCP-XXXX-1 to have spoken so far. It seemed to start talking only when living creatures were mentioned. It also mentioned that “we” and “us” were scared of “the elder one”, hinting at the other SCP-XXXX-1.
I have an idea that the elder one could be SCP-XXXX. The evidence seems to support the fact that the elder one would be the first one of these entities ever made. I spoke to one of the scientists that were tasked to observe the interviewed SCP-XXXX-1 and he said that the SCP seemed more active than the other SCP-XXXX-1's after my interview with it.
This interview happened 3 days later on 14 / 10 / 20 █.
Interviewer: Dr █████
Interviewee: A 23-year-old male SCP-XXXX-1.
[BEGIN LOG]
Dr █████: I already tried to interview your friend and didn’t get much out of them. Are you willing to share?
The SCP stared at Dr █████.
Dr █████: One of you that I already interviewed mention that you all fear “the elder one”. Is this true?
SCP: The elder one is the creator of these things. I can’t tell you anything else or he’ll kill me!
Dr █████: Sir, you are perfectly safe here. Nothing is able to kill you. If you give us more information we will be able to help you.
SCP: They use our fears against us! To torture us! We asked it a question and it showed me the darkness… Showed us. Our terrors!
The SCP began to scream and did not stop for 30 minutes.

Interviewers Note: //After this interview, the SCP-XXXX-1 was just as erratic as the first interviewed SCP-XXXX-1. It seems that speech is what makes them go further down the insane rabbit hole. This SCP also mentioned the fact that the initial creator of the SCP-XXXX and SCP-XXXX-1 were able to program it to tie into the user's worst fears, sending them into insanity. The foundation has not yet found the person that created these objects, but when he is found he will be interviewed and possibly terminated.
At 11:32 pm on 23 / 10 / 20 █, the foundation was able to find the mastermind behind the initial SCP-XXXX. Dr █████ was able to get an interview with him after he was placed in containment.
Interviewer: Dr █████
Interviewee: SCP-XXXX-2

Dr █████: We were finally able to find you. You’ve ended a person's life and caused many others to go insane. What do you have to say in your defense?
SCP-XXXX-2: I had no intention to kill that man. The insanity, however, that was all planned. These people are my followers, they listen to every word. But you were not supposed to know about this, you should not have heard.
Dr █████: Sir, that is insane. We are currently figuring out a way to cure your followers, and your devices are being destroyed as we speak. Anything else to add?
//The SCP did not speak.

Interviewers Note: The man seemed to talk in poems, and referred to the SCP-XXXX-1 as his "followers". It seems that he is the one that is controlling the SCP-XXXX-1's blood lustful tendencies. SCP-XXXX-2 is an incredibly dangerous figure, and needs eyes on him at all times, in order to make sure that he does not give any more orders to his "followers."
24 hours after this interview occurred, Dr █████ was starting to show similar signs of insanity as SCP-XXXX-2’s followers. He has since been contained.
