Item #: SCP-xx

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures:

SCP-xx is allowed a bookcase, which can be filled with non-anomalous, non-thaumatic texts to be curated with the permission of the Site Director.

Description: SCP-xx is a nine-year-old boy of Nordic descent with blonde hair and blue eyes recovered from a previously undiscovered settlement off the coast of Svalbard. Due to his age and social development, staff are advised to refer to him as "Odin the Terridorable" for ease of interaction.

SCP-xx is affable and prone to engage in communication with staff. It seems to be aware that it is contained by the SCP Foundation but is generally compliant with most Foundation policies.1 It enjoys reading, and is eager to socialize with new D-class personnel to "make new friends".

SCP-xx's main anomalous property is to create what it refers to as "druggers"2 through the use of previously unknown thaumatic rituals and Runic inscriptions in the Elder Futhark style. It also appears skilled in the use of seiðr, an early form of sorcery used to predict and shape the future. Though its predictions are highly accurate, it has so far only demonstrated this ability to predict mundane outcomes, such as when staff come to study it or what it will be provided for dinner, although it has been known to use this ability to cheat at games, such as chess.3 All attempts to predict other, more serious outcomes are usually deemed "too boring" and treated with disdain.

SCP-xx-1 and SCP-xx-2 are to be contained in cold storage except for once a month, when SCP-xx is permitted visitation.

Item #: SCP-001

Object Class:

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-001 is contained within Site-███, and must remain open at page 48. Researchers with clearance level 4-Scranton are allowed limited access SCP-001.4

Description: SCP-001 is a copy of Through the Looking Glass and What Alice Found There, 1981 illustrated edition. The book has been determined to be non-anomalous except for page 48

and may be found on page 48. Due to the size of the portal5, exploration of the space within was conducted via tiny remote drones. Initially believed to be a pocket wormhole utilized by thaumaturges to access other dimensions, additional exploration and testing has determined that it was, at one point, a parallel universe to our own. Conditions within SCP-001 are unpredictable, and no life has been observed inside it.

SCP-001 was retrieved from the previously undiscovered Site-35 in the Himalayas after its detection by long-range Foundation scanners.

Claire,

I know it's too late to change your mind. You're going to do what you're going to do, the way you always have. I just want to remind you that although the Thresher was technically a success, it was one of a kind and we have no idea what happened to Site-13. The existence of other universes does not guarantee that you'll find one where Adam is still alive. Judging by what you've resorted to, your search has turned up nothing.

Adam was my brother. I cried at his funeral. I carried his casket and helped you fill the dirt back in. I miss him too, but he's gone. The Serpent's Hand is a master of the anomalous, but even it can do only so much to a body shredded by an assault rifle. Even a miracle wouldn't have been enough given how many bullets struck him in the liver and stomach.

I'm sorry about Adam. I'm sorry about your sons. I can only imagine the pain you felt losing a husband and three children in less time than it takes to brew a pot of coffee. I'm not saying forget them: I'm saying live your life.

I'm your sister-in-law. I'm the only family you have left now. Come home, Claire. Twenty years is a long time to search for a dead man.

Your sister,
Ellie

Given the dearth of viable candidates to oversee it, I propose we disband the organization known as the SCP Foundation and its associates, front companies, research labs, containment or storage facilities, observation posts, and all related addenda (hereafter referred to as "the Foundation") in the following manner:

1. The immediate termination of all Foundation employees. No exceptions. This includes the complete dissolution of all remaining Mobile Task Forces.
2. Liquidation of all remaining KTEs/PTEs labeled as "Safe" or "Euclid" class via incineration as per the revised Mortuary Protocol. All research regarding said threats will be compiled by PTOLEMY staff and assessed for usefulness. Sentient and humanoid KTEs/PTEs are subject to the same treatment, and will be subject to interrogation before liquidation.
3. Provisional re-hiring of select former Foundation researchers and/or Containment Specialists for the Research and Development branch of PTOLEMY Division.
4. Neutralize remaining former Foundation employees by way of interrogation followed by immediate termination or imprisonment. The former will be far more cost-efficient

The SCP Foundation's back has been broken, ladies and gentlemen. It is an echo of the powerful shadow organization from the twentieth century, a relic of

You think I care? Do you have any idea how many people I've personally executed? I shot Jeremiah Cimmerian in the head, Eleanor, right in front of all three hundred forty-eight employees of Site-17. I looked him in the eyes and put a bullet in his brain, and then told his flunkies that the same thing would happen to them. Their ethics changed for the better shortly after.

Grenwald wouldn't do it, the chickenshit. He didn't have the balls. Nobody wanted to shoot Jones either, so I had to do it.

  1. Eleanor reveals that her sister-in-law Claire opened up the hole
  2. List of senior Foundation personnel in 1730-verse, most missing or dead
  3. No head of SCP chosen, organization dissolved, GOC takes over
  4. Claire Wythers is denied access SCP-2000 to get copies of her son and husband, as they are not in the database, nor can she access any remaining SCPs that will revive the dead
  5. Wythers stages a raid on the Circus of the Disquieting to acquire the Kaleidoscope
  6. One by one, she sends agents to other universes to search for Adam and Carter
  7. The diverted resources and upheaval cause numerous containment breaches
  8. The Kaleidoscope explodes under pressure and rips a hole in reality itself
  9. Nearly every skip breaches containment, creating a self-perpetuating cycle that degrades reality to almost nothing
  10. Lily's flowers bloom, and during the last perfect day, Eleanor sends her message in a copy of Through the Looking Glass

Short version: A distraught mother tries to retrieve her son from an alternate reality and opens up a hole in existence, which our SRAs exploit to siphon reality from it for purposes of containment. The rapidly falling hume levels cause the world to fall apart, and Eleanor sends a message to the prime universe to prevent it from happening there.

There is blood on the concrete. The Black Moon is howling.
