Teddy-Kun - An Alchemists Heart
Item#: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Note:
Dispite the information in SCP-XXXX-C no interference of the foundation with PoI-XXXX-1 is recorded.
Connection to PoI-XXXX-1 should be impossible due to his/her supposed age.
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX-A has to be rebuild into a working Site under the disguise of beeing an animal graveyard.
SCP-XXXX-B has to be monitored and access is forbidden without Level 3 clearance or direct site command. Experiments have to be approved by a Level 4 researcher. The room has to be sterilized regulary and the empty containers found inside at least once before every experiment.
SCP-XXXX-C has to be placed in a Standard-Safe-Security-Locker at Site.
Description: SCP-XXXX-A is an underground facility beneath Martin Tower in London, England build sometime between 1326 and 1731 (conflicting information). It consists of 4 rooms with 3 of them beeing a laboratory, a kitchen and a bedroom. The last room is a chamber even deeper underground containing SCP-XXXX-B.
SCP-XXXX-B is a mass of mostly muscular tissue from different species that is shaped like a non biological heart (♥). Some parts of it have patches of fur and human skin on it. At the rounded corners of the heart up too 3 animal heads are visible though they can change in size, position and animal (as of yet no human head was recorded). SCP-XXXX-B changes in size randomly. It reaches heights between 3.4m and 6.1m, lengths between 4.3m and 7.0m and widths between 2.5m and 5.2m. SCP-XXXX-B is impervious to any damage done so far. Trying to damage it is strictly forbidden as it could damage its functionality. The heart has lines of rubber and organic tubing leading to the other 3 rooms, however no hole has been found in either room so the prupose and functionality is not fully understood. Other lines of tubing are connected to perfectly spherical tanks filled with an unknown green/golden fluid with 7 of them leading to empty triangular containers.
These containers, if there lids are closed, will fill with a red fluid. This fluid is likely the green/golden fluid that changed from beeing pumped through the heart. Chemical analysis show that it is supposedly just normal water.
If metals are put into the containers they will slowly turn into different metals.
If they are filled with gaseus nonmetals nothing happens. If the nonmetals are solid or fluids they turn into various salts, sometimes anomalous in nature.
Filling them with metalloids turns the input into various anomalous isotopes of known elements.
Alloys that are put into the containers will split into the metals they are composed of and then change as if they were put alone inside.
Other chemical compounds will not change at all.
Resulting chemicals that came out of the tanks will not change if they are put back into them.
For more information see experiment log down below.
The tanks can also be filled with organic tissue (living and dead). If at least one of them is filled with an living organism and the lids are closed they slowly will be dissolved and the containers can't be opened until the created fluid is pumped out. Following that a new organsim will begin to form in one of the tanks with the green/golden fluid. The organism will be a hybrid of the organic tissue used, ignoring genetic compatibility. Experiments with cloned tissue and with the same amound of it led to different results. Experiments with human tissue always failed.
SCP-XXXX-C is a diary that is damaged to such a degree that most of it is almost unreadable. The readable parts of it are written in old greek mixed with latin. Analysis of the handwriting concluded that it should have been written by multiple individuals, the contents however suggest that it was only one. This Person is designated PoI-XXXX-1.
An translated excerpt can be found below.
Note: Some experiments have been redacted for brevity.
Experiment XXXX-A-1
Name: Dr. ██████
Input: 1kg of solid lead
Duration 16h
Result: 243g solid gold
Note: The loss of mass is directly contradicting the principle of conversation of energy. Further research is required. I need an helping hand.
Experiment XXXX-A-2
Name: Dr. ██████ and Dr. ███████████
Input: 1kg of solid lead
Duration: 7h
Result: 57 Grams of solid gold
701 Grams of solid lead
64 Grams of a liquid gold-lead-alloy (still at room temperature, became solid after a few hours)
Note: We see no mathematical relation to time yet, even if it definitly is a major factor. Furthermore the gold-lead-alloy as well as the solid lead suggests that only a part of it is transmutated at any time.
Experiment XXXX-B-1
Name: Dr. ██████ and Dr. ███████████
Input: 1kg of carbon
Duration: 27h
Result: 742 Grams of sodium chloride
Note: Why does it transmuteate into sodium chloride and why is there, compared to the lead experiments, so much more of the resulting material?
Experiment XXXX-B-2
Name: Dr. ██████ and Dr. ███████████
Input: 1kg of frozen sulfur
Duration: 13h
Result: 98 Gram of solid hydrogen chloride (at room temperature)
Note: It's just solid hydrogen chloride. Mixed with water the crystal dissolves and normal hydrochloric acid is created.
Experiment XXXX-C-1
Name: Dr. ███████████
Input: 1kg of silicon
Duration: 18.5h
Result: 416g gaseous, non-radioactive, superconducting iridium
Note: That stuff is dangerous, Dr. ██████ is now hospitalized because he inhaled some of it and his own nerves shocked him. With electric energy that low he should have been fine. I suggest that some of the energy "lost" during the transmutation enhances the current and voltage of electricity flowing through it.
[Review for further experiments with metalloids pending]
Experiment XXXX-D-1
Name: Dr. ███████████
Input: one dried blossom of a deceased Habenaria halata (Sweet Rein Orchid)
one Quercus robur (english oak) seed
Result: One normal looking Quercus robur seed. Once planted the tree had a much thinner log and different looking leafs and blossoms. The plant was unable to reproduce even though seeds grew. No anomalies detected. The DNA could be matched to both input plants, as well as other unknown genetic material.
Experiment XXXX-D-2
Name: Dr. ███████████ and Dr. ██████
Input: one dried blossom of a deceased Habenaria halata (Sweet Rein Orchid)
Result: anomalous disease (extinct)
Note: At first I thought nothing happened until ██████ had to again be hospitalized because he couldn't breathe. Turns out there where [EXPLETIVE REDACTED] flowers growing in his lungs. I suspect that the flower mixed itself with the rhinovirus (common cold) and that that are the unknown DNA fragments from E-XXXX-D-1. I suggest that the tanks have to be sterilized before experimenting.
Experiment XXXX-D-3
Name: Dr. ███████████
Input: one dried blossom of a deceased Habenaria halata (Sweet Rein Orchid)
one deceased Opuntia microdasys (bunny ears cactus)
Result: ball of dead plant material
Note: So there has to be at least one living organism for it to work properly. Question is what organism has the "control".
Requesting permission to start experimenting with animals.
- PERMISSION GRANTED
Experiment XXXX-D-4
Name: Dr. ███████████
Input: one Lepus europaeus (European hare)
one Salmo trutta fario (river trout)
Result: Chimera Lepus Salmo
- covered in fish scales
- head of Lepus europaeus
- front fins of Salmo trutta fario
- hind legs of Lepus europaeus with elongated toes and webbing
- small backfin of Salmo trutta fario
- main body of Lepus europaeus
- lungs that with fins inside of them
- vegetarian digestive system, able to digest plants from above and under water
- main behavior of Lepus europaeus
//Note: The animal with the higher intelligence influences the behavior the most but I have seen it do things that no hare would do. More interesting is the structure of the internal organs. There is stuff that has never been seen inside any organism. I'd like to study it even more in depth. Also it was as cute as it was strange and my wifes birthday is not far away. Since she also works here I'd like to request one as a pet.
- PERMISSION GRANTED
Experiment XXXX-D-4
Name: Dr. ███████████
Input: one Lepus europaeus (European hare)
one Salmo trutta fario (river trout)
Result: Chimera Salmo Lepus
- covered in brown fur
- head, main body and backfin of Salmo trutta fario
- respiratory system of Salmo trutta fario
- lungs
- rest: Lepus europaeus
Note: What is that, a completly different species? I can't bring that home my wife would kill me. It can't even eat properly! I'll cut it open and have a look inside. It will probably starve to death anyways. I request the permission to try to recreate two similar chimera to see if they can reproduce. > - PERMISSION GRANTED
Experiment XXXX-D-72
Name: Dr. ███████████
Input: three Lepus europaeus (European hare)
three Salmo trutta fario (river trout)
Result: three Chimera Lepus Salmo
Note: So it CAN create the same species multiple times and it looks like its guarenteed to be the same if you use the same input again before the first one is fully incubated. Now lets see if they can reproduce.
Addendum: Chimera Lepus Salmo can reproduce and they are really good at it. The female one dug a hole and layed around 1.000 eggs in it which I immediatly destroyed.
