Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX-1 is to be kept in a standard containment cell which will be consistently monitored. SCP-XXX-1 may request changes made to the room, and is allowed mild luxuries as well as access to any medical, mental, or physical health services needed. When any instance of SCP-XXXX-1 is near death, a replacement is brought to stand directly beside SCP-XXXX while the previous iterstion of SCP-XXXX-1 is euthanized in the room.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a 7 foot tall Pedestrian Crossing sign typical in appearance and composition to the stabdard found in [REDACTED]. SCP-XXXX has a selected target, designated as SCP-XXXX-1, which they will follow without any clear movement. It will appear in the target's blind spots when moving, and stay put, even when in vision again, until the target gets far enough away (Testing indicates this distance is 15-20 meters, and may vary depending on surroundings).

SCP-XXXX will appear in any place, only acknowledging their target's vison. This means that it may appear in direct line of sight of those who are not its target. SCP-XXXX also exhibits cognitive memetic effects. Anybody who observes SCP-XXXX who is not its current target, will have their memory and thought process altered. They will believe that SCP-XXXX has always existed wherever it currently is, despite any proof otherwise shown to them. The target is not affected mentally by SCP-XXXX's memetic effects.

SCP-XXXX will keep its target until their death. At the time of death, the closest person to SCP-XXXX will be assigned the new target, and subsequently followed.
