Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-5268 is to be contained within a 1,650 square foot container with only one (1) door. 4 Security personnel are to be stationed at the entrance of SCP - 5298's containment chamber at all times. Any personnel entering SCP-5268's chamber without permission from L3+ personnel will be terminated without warning due to ██████ ███ of SCP - 5268. During testing, Class-D personnel will be escorted into the container by 2 Security personnel, with authorization by a Researcher or Scientist. The Class-D personnel will be escorted to the monitor and will be directed to the machine next to the beaker. The Class-D personnel will be strapped down to the machine, operated by Researcher personnel. Exactly one (1) pint of blood will be extracted from said Class - D person(s)
Description: SCP-5268 is a 40" TV monitor connected to a beaker that can hold 1 pint of liquid. It is not fully understood on how these anomalous effects work. It was found at an abandoned power plant, and was discovered and recovered by foundation personnel. When exactly 1 pint of blood is putin the beaker, the TV starts to turn on. Then, the test subject's greatest fear will appear on the monitor and takes them into the monitor. This is classified as the "TV Realm". Any personnel who entered this TV Realm never have appeared again. No one knows what is beyond the monitor. SCP-5268 is to be securely contained at Site 5, with Level 3 clearance or above.
Addendum: SCP-5268 has been tested with other SCP's blood, and with varying results. When we put SCP-682's blood into the beaker, the colour red flashed on the screen. When tested with SCP-096's blood, it flashed the colour yellow. When tested with SCP-939's blood, it flashed red, and with SCP-173's blood, it flashed yellow. We have concluded that SCP-5268 can determine the object class of these SCP's. It seemed to have no extra effects against the SCP's, unlike human testing.
Addendum 2: As stated, when SCP-5268 gets 1 pint of human blood, the test victim's greatest fear would appear out of the monitor. This instance is known as SCP-5268-2. SCP-5268-2 has no definite form, being different for every test subject. One similarity we have noted within these tests, is that the fear is always in the form of an animal. During the few amount of tests, the range of animals we saw was as follows; A Spider, Wolf, and Snake. This is unnatural since the test subjects have stated that their greatest fear was not an animal. Not much is known about this SCP at the moment. More tests will be conducted at a further date.
