SCP-4087 conducting the fusion process during Test-01

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4087 is to be contained in Site █████████ bottom cell with no possible exit and under constant observation with an A9-SJ4000 Video Camera, a Thermal Camera, and a Motion Detector (see SCP-4087 Testing Log). Maintenance to the camera will be done by Floor Maintenance Drones connected to supply air-locks.
SCP-4087’s Cell is to be surrounded by:
- concrete walls with sheets of gold plating approximately 5 inches thick inside the concrete
- CRE Modules (Constant Radiation Emitter) 5 feet apart.
Any movement detected outside of the cell will result in the activation of the CRE Modules.
If SCP-4087’s cell is damaged at any point, CRE Modules will be activated until 24 hours after the repairment of the cell by Floor Maintenance Drones.
During a breach, CRE Modules will activate until the breach has been contained
After TEST-06 Incident:
- Absolutely no testing will be conducted anymore for SCP-4087 (see SCP-4087 Testing Log).
- Absolutely no personnel will be allowed in SCP-4087 (see SCP-4087 Testing Log)
Description:
SCP-4087 is a ghost-like entity capable of fusing between solid surfaces and disappearing out of the visual range of the electromagnetic spectrum.
Molecular Consistency Tests suggests that the SCP-4087 is made up of 90% Argon and 10% of an unknown presumed-sentient molecule.
Tests have concluded that SCP-4087 cannot fuse between and seems to avoid any type of surface with gold plating attached or inside of the surface. Any contact with gold and SCP-4087 will result in SCP-4087 screaming in what is presumed to be a woman’s voice the statement: “GREED IS POISON, GREED IS DEATH”, and SCP-4087-a will start to occur.
SCP-4087-a are black colored root-like structures with a reptilian texture that grow faster than any known plant.
Contact with SCP-4087-a will result in sudden disappearance from our physical realm into a pocket dimension, which will close and only open when another contact of an individual has been made.

The only known way to dispose of SCP-4087-a is to emit a constant radiation at the source of the growth, disintegrating the it’s core and roots.
The origin of SCP-4087 is still unknown, but police records of ██████████ county show a number of residents have reported a “ghost” or “apparition” fusing through the walls of their home.

Caller: Umm I think someone just broke into my home through my basement window!

After 11 Calls and Records and finally a Missing Persons Case assuming to be related to SCP-4087, Operatives were dispatched and successfully contained SCP-4087 at date █/█/17 by chance because of the vehicle’s gold plating, initially luring SCP-4087 to it's containment cell.

SCP-4087 then proceeded to conduct a fusion process through the wall causing a breach. SCP-4087 has now been deemed to object class KETER. NOTE: It has later been found that the difference between the 1st Class C Personnel and the 2nd Class C Personnel is that the 2nd Class C Personnel had contained a gold filling in the 3rd molar of the left side of the mouth. |
| Test-03: After relocation of SCP-4087 into an underground cell, a single gold bar was placed 2 Meters from SCP-4087 | SCP-4087 had launched SCP-4087-a at the gold bar, completely erasing the gold bar from existance. | Test-05: SCP-4087 had been relocated to a cell underground in Site █████████ with gold plating in the walls and CRE Modules behind them in attempt to contain SCP-4087. | SCP-4087 attempted many times to launch SCP-4087-a at it's cell walls, but was unsuccessful. SCP-4087 attempted to conduct a fusion process on it's cell walls, but was unsuccessful. It had been confirmed that SCP-4087 will be permanently contained there. |
| Test-06: An attempt to retrieve the lost items and people consumed by SCP-4087-a was conducted via gold plated Retrieval Drone. | SCP-4087 had launched SCP-4087-a at the drone, and through radio connected sensors and cameras, Testers were able to keep in contact with the drone for 2 minutes, until half of the drone was consumed and signal was lost. SCP-4087 than proceeded to throw the other half of the drone at it's cell wall, causing a weak point, where SCP-4087 then proceeded to conduct a fusion process, causing a major breach resulting in SCP-4087 attacking anything consisting of gold throughout the Facility.
