SCP 5868 is a Keter class virus which was discovered in 1998 but thankfully never caused a pandemic but was discovered when a security guard developed strange symptoms of a virus never known the guard was immediately sent into quarantine when he died we were able to get samples the virus it is incredibly lethal if anyone is infected with the virus they will be in horrible pain and die after 24 hours.
**After infection subject will produce these symptoms **
*after 2 minutes subject will begin to hear voices.
*after 10 minutes subject will start to hallucinate.
*after 30 minutes subject will be paralysed.
*after 1 hour skin will begin to melt.
*after 2 hours subject won’t have any skin but nervous system will still be active.
*after 12 hours subjects body will begin to melt nervous system still active.
*after 24 hours subject will be a pile of flesh and bone.
We do not know if any else had the virus we are trying to destroy the virus immediately without letting it loose if anyone is infected with SCP 5868 they are required to go into quarantine immediately.
Message to all personnel: a janitor went into SCP 5868’s cell to clean the flesh and bone and started to produce symptoms it turns out he had a hole in his hazmat suit we require all personnel to check for holes so this doesn’t happen again.
We are trying to produce a cure for SCP 5868 all tests have been unsuccessful

Dr James: No my name is Dr James, how do you feel?
D-8346: I feel horrible the voices they wont stop
Dr James: Yes, that is one of the symptoms
D-8346: Symptoms? what do you mean symptoms?
Dr James: Ah you don't know? well you have been infected by SCP 5868
D-8346: Am i going to die?
Dr James: (lies) no the SCP is not lethal.
D-8346: Thank god
Dr James: But tell me what do you see?
D-8346: (looks around the room and points) There is a shadowy figure standing right there.
Dr James: You are hallucinating, that isn't real.
D-8346: Are you saying i'm going crazy?
Dr James: Your are not crazy these are just the symptoms.
D-8346: (Grabs head) STOP THE VOICES.
Dr James: Calm down.
D-8346: why cant I move?
Dr James: Well you have been infected for 58 minutes, you have three symptoms, you can hear voices, you are hallucinating and you are paralysed.
D-8346: Whats the next symptom?
Dr James: (lies) That's all of them.
D-8346: I don't feel good.
D-8346: (skin begins to melt) LIAR YOU'VE BEEN LYING THE WHOLE TIME WHY AM I MELTING
