Sketch of SCP-3156-EFX

Item #: SCP-3156-EFX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-3156-EFX is currently located somewhere in the plains of Southeast Philippines. SCP-3156-EFX is to be routinely visited by a member of D-Class personnel once a month on the 17th of each month, failure to do so may result in SCP-3156-EFX becoming frantic and confused and can result in the destruction of whoever enters it in the proceeding 13 days.

SCP-3156-EFX has been observed resting dormant on everyday except on the 17th of each month from 12 PM - 12 AM. Failure to enter the church within these hours will result in SCP-3156-EFX emitting groaning noises and blood-curdling screams for the proceeding 13 days, anyone who enters the church during the 13 days will dissapear without a trace. Once 13 days have passed, SCP-3156-EFX will return to a dormant state until the 17th.

There is currently no known cure to SCP-3156-EFX's effects on it's victims, but researchers have observed that reading the bible passage [(( James 4:17-21))] has a chance of curing the psychotic state in which SCP-3156-EFX places his victims in.

The foundation cannot control locals who wish to enter the church as they have seemed to inherit superhuman abilities, such as an enhanced physical strength and immunity towards any sort of physical violence (i.e Bullets, Knives and Explosives).

Description: SCP-3156-EFX is a humanoid creature composed of rotting wood, measured at approximately 266 cm in height.

The SCP is observed to be completely stationary resembling a statue on everyday except for the 17th of each month where it is observed to frantically pace in circles inside of the church and stops only when someone enters the church. It is unknown to what SCP-3156-EFX does to his victims as they appear to completely forget what happened within the church.

SCP-3156-EFX causes it's victims to constantly mention it to anyone they see to the point of psychosis, uttering phrases in an unknown language. SCP-3156-EFX was heard from within the church repeating the phrase [REDACTED] which caused mass paranoia and hysteria within the observation crew.

Several victims have been reported missing several days after their encounter with SCP-3156-EFX. None of these victims were ever found despite being locked within the Facility at all times.

Discovery: SCP-3156-EFX appeared seemingly out of nowhere in the plains of Philippines. It became a popular tourist attraction due to the humanoid figure standing in the middle of the old church. It was soon shut down by the Foundation due to many of the tourists feeling sick and paranoid after visiting it, some even vanishing into thin air. It is unknown where the victims of
SCP-3156-EFX go and whether or not they are alive.
