Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be held in 2x2x2 meter room made of solid concrete, with a camera placed above the standard door. In the center of the room is a 1.5 meter high pedestal that is 139 centimeters long and 20 centimeters wide where SCP-XXXX will be placed. The camera will always be locked upon the sword in order to ensure its safety incase of contain breach.
SCP-XXXX-1-a, b, c, d, and e must all be contained in their own cells. Each cell is identical, each one being a 3x3x2 meter room with a reinforced door. A camera in a bullet proof glass box will be placed upon the ceiling in the center of the room, where the camera can freely follow and must always be tracking the subjects. A standard 99 cm by 190 sized bed is placed in the far corner of the room, with the 190 cm side will be placed along side the far wall from the door.
Description: SCP-XXXX is an ancient Nordic sword, with the blade being composed of iron, the cross guard of gold, and a woven leather hilt. Upon the blade, symbols of a unrecorded language were carved into the blade going along the center of the blade on both sides.
SCP-XXXX-1-a is a 176 centimeter woman of Nordic decent, she has a pair of brown wings with white spots, with a wing span of 274 centimeters. The subject's wings need to be annually checked for infection or scarring, as she suffers from multiple wounds upon them from age and capture. She is of a slightly above average build, with muscles covering her body.
SCP-XXXX-1-b is a 165 centimeter woman of Caucasian decent, she has black wings with a span of 213 centimeters. She is a thinner woman, there is no definitions for muscle beyond the one on her shoulders for flight. Beyond that she is of an average build.
SCP-XXXX-1-c is a 184 centimeter woman of Nordic decent, she has brown wings, with a span of 286 centimeters. She is of a more muscular set, most likely a body builder before her transformation into SCP-XXX-c.
SCP-XXXX-1-d is a 160 centimeter woman of African decent, she has grey wings with a span of 205 centimeters. She is of a more heavy set build, all though like all the other subjects she is muscular on her shoulders due to her wings.
SCP-XXXX-1-e is a 173 centimeter woman of Asian decent, she has white wings with a span of 270 centimeters. She is of an average build, with her shoulders being muscular like all the other subject. All though she does have scaring built up around the edges due to the transformation process.
SCP-XXXX becomes active when picked up by a woman. When picked up the woman enters a trance like state, where the subject remains completely still from little as 30 seconds up to an entire hour. Once the subject puts down the sword one of two results will happen. The first is that the woman will under go no transformation, all though they do remember what was happening during the trance, where it is revealed that the subject undergoes an "interview" (see addendum 01). The second one is that the woman will under go a transformation.
The transformation of the subject, which from hence point the subject will be known as SCP-XXXX-1. SCP-XXXX-1 will enter a comatose like state, where the body will undergo a series of mutations. The body will begin to disassemble and re-assemble the shoulder blades and the muscles around them, as well as begin to increase production in both muscle and bone. After 10 minutes of this process, two bumps will begin to form on the back, when observed it appeared that the bumps were actually the beginning of a new pair of wings. They begin rapid development from there, growing to almost full size over the course of a hour. When studied the wings appear to be that of an average birds, all though upscaled in order to allow flight for subject.
The subject also undergoes a mental transformation, whilst the subject does retain the memories of their past selves, they almost under go a complete transformation mentally. They seemed to have gained another set of memories on top of the subjects original, and they do not refer to themselves as their old names. They instead use names rooted in the ancient Nordic languages and appear to gain the ability to speak in every language, all though with a Nordic accent. The subject also under goes a form of paranoia, immediately they want to go to their "Sisters" and their "Mother". They start out become extremely violent, attacking and killing until they get reigned in by their "Mother". The Mother appears to be inside the sword itself (see addendum 01 and addendum 02).
Recovery: SCP-XXXX and SCP-XXXX-1-a, b, and c were all found in ████ Norway, where they were seen attacking and kidnapping women off the streets. A team was dispatched and managed to successfully capture and contain SCP-XXXX-1-b and c. SCP-XXXX-1-a picked up SCP-XXXX and began to attack the team, wounding several before being shot by a tranquilizer, where her movements slowed and eventually she was able to be restrained. When looking about the rest of the building, they found several women locked away in several rooms, some appeared to have already undergone the interview and are now in custody of the foundation.
Addendum 01:
Interviewed: D-Class 67248
Interviewer: Dr. Silverton
Foreword: After D-Class 62748 went through the process of holding the sword and not under going the transformation into SCP-XXXX-1, she was willing enough to tell more about this "interview" that most go through whilst holding it.

Dr. Silverton: Hello… Can you tell me about your recent experiences with SCP-XXXX?
D-Class 67248: Wow… Getting right to it huh? Well I was doing as I was told, approaching the sword and stuff, but when I grabbed it, it felt like I fell asleep.
Dr. Silverton: You were in a dream? Care to elaborate?
D-Class 67248: Yeah. I was just floating, in a void. As quickly as I was in it I was out of it. But I wasn't in the room. I was in a cabin.
Dr. Silverton: A cabin? You never left the chamber.
D-Class 67248: Well, I was in a cabin. It was old, like one of those A frame houses? Like a big ol' tent where the roof goes into the ground. There was a fire place, some beds, a table, but what was most odd of all was this… Skull, it looked like a really big bird skull, mounted above the fireplace.
Dr. Silverton remains silent for a moment, taking a few seconds to think for a moment before prompting the next question.
Dr. Silverton: Were you alone?
D-Class 67248: I… Wasn't. I was just standing there, but next thing I know I was sitting down in this wood chair, there was a table, rather large with some food on it. Across from me was this woman in full armor, breast plates, furs, the whole nine yards. She looked like a Viking woman you would see in like, metal band cover. She also had these blinding white wings, like these were giant wings, even folded up.
Dr. Silverton: Go on, you are providing us with vital information about studying the entity.
D-Class 67248: She… Was really welcoming, she felt warm almost. She smiled and began to ask me questions. Stuff like "Where are you from?", "Have you ever been in a fight?", "Have you traveled?" Something about them was so simple, so… easy to answer. But then the questions started getting… Odd.
Dr. Silverton: In what ways?
D-Class 67248: "Have you ever served in an army.", "Have you ever wanted to kill people.", after that one she stared at me for a while. I told her I was a marine, and we talked about that for a while, the areas I served in, the items I used, people I served with… It was odd, she seemed to have almost getting closer. Then she asked one more question. "Are you strong enough to serve again." I hesitated for a moment, and next thing I know it she stood up, her wings spreading wide open, and with one push of her wings I was back here. The sword was in my hands, and nothing else was happening, the presence I felt with her was completely gone.
Dr. Silverton sat there for a moment, rubbing his chin for a moment again before standing.
Dr. Silverton: Thank you, I think that will be all for now. You may return to your cell.

Closing Statement: After revealing the details, the entity inside doing the interview was linked to the descriptions of the Mother the Valkyries talked about. D-Class 67248 returned to her cell, with no major effects occurring afterwards to her or the anomalies.
Addendum 02:
Interviewed: SCP-XXXX-1-a
Interviewer: Dr. Silverton
Foreword: After the usual grooming of her wings by staff, SCP-XXXX-1-a was willing to talk to the foundation. Being the oldest of the Valkyries, Dr. Silverton volunteered to conduct the interview with the subject.
