Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in an air-tight, translucent plastic room. When testing, all personnel are to be wearing gas masks (including Class-D test subjects), until testing begins and the room is sealed once again. The room is to be completely windowless, with no source of electricity or power generating through it.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a ███████ brand table fan. If any power source (whether it be solar, electrical, etc.) is generating through an outlet, or through the air, SCP-XXXX will activate, generating high amounts of wind. However, this wind will smell (to the person closest to it) like the victim’s favourite object or food. If there are multiple people in the vicinity, the wind will smell differently for each person. The smell has been found to have a psychological effect on the victim(s), causing a powerful obsession and a compulsion to remain as near it as possible.

Caller: Dr. ██████ of ███████’s Private Hospital

Receiver: Police Constable ██████.

Foreword:The following is a phone call traced from ███████’s Private Hospital in ██████, █████████. The supposed receiver of this phone call was the ████████ Police Department. This call was made when a table fan in the hospital began exhibiting strange behaviour.

Dr. ██████: Hello? Is this the █PD?

PC ██████: Yes it is, how may I help you, Sir?

Dr. ██████: There is something strange going on. Please send help as soon as possible!

PC ██████: What is happening?

Dr. ██████: This fan! We thought it was normal, but it is giving off smells… Smells that
people like. Everybody is fighting over a whiff of it!

PC ██████: Ok, we will come as soon as possible, Sir.

Dr. ██████: Hurry!

Closing Statement: SCP-XXXX was recovered from the hospital and placed in Sector ██ at Site-██.

Test A

Test A - 21/07/20██

Subject: SCP-XXXX
Procedure: Expose one (1) Class-D personnel to SCP-XXXX when active.
Results: D-16383 became instantly obsessed with the smell. When the test ended, D-16383
refused to leave.
Analysis: SCP-XXXX has inherent psychological effects. Further testing is required.

Test B

Test B - 24/07/20██

Subject: SCP-XXXX
Procedure: Expose two (2) Class-D personnel to SCP-XXXX when active.
Results: D-17344 and D-13889 exhibited behaviour similar to Test A (D-16383). When asked to leave, D-17344 and D-13889 left, showing little hesitation. When questioned, they described different smells producing from SCP-XXXX.
Analysis: SCP-XXXX can produce two different smells without one affecting the other. Further testing is required.

Test C

Test C - 26/07/20██

Subject: SCP-XXXX
Procedure: Expose SCP-XXXX to a variety of electrically charged objects (e.g. Batteries, power
outlets etc.)
Results: SCP-XXXX reacted strongly to the power outlet, battery and generator, even when not
in contact with SCP-XXXX.
Analysis: SCP-XXXX can harness electrical energy from physical contact and the air. In result, SCP-XXXX will be kept in a plastic, airtight container.
