The anomaly cannot be fully contained, and no method of neutralisation has been found as of now. SCP-XXXX Is to be kept in a specialized chamber, fitted with 3 rotating magnetic coils, connected to two backup generators in case of a power failure. If repairs are necessary, personnel are to be connected to the walls via 2 retractable ropes, and all the coils are to be turned off for a time period no longer than 10 minutes.
Description:
SCP-XXXX Is a spacetime distortion, when exposed to strong magnetic fields, the anomaly transforms into a more stable and compact shape. The anomaly shrinks to an unknown point, after which it remains static. When the magnetic coils around the anomaly are inactive, the "crack" is observed getting bigger, attracting the surrounding environment into itself, whilst transforming into a more chaotic shape. Objects pulled into the anomaly can be seen accelerating inwards, whilst shrinking, this event releases no energy. The anomaly also emits unintelligible sounds, akin to "distorted human speech." The magnetic field of the Earth has little influence on the anomaly, however it's keeping the anomaly from rapidly expanding outwards, effectively helping with containment.
