Special Containment Procedures: Due to the nature of SCP-XXXX, containment is impossible. The foundation serves to monitor and cover up SCP-XXXX. Unless the incident is too severe, individual nations are in charge of damage control. The cover story of global warming is used to cover up SCP-XXXX's existence, but an alternate cover is to be maintained in case global warming is disproved.
Any personnel below the level of [DATA LOST] are not given access to Foundation files on SCP-XXXX, and are to be told SCP-XXXX is a heat source directly causing global warming. Every year, foundation agents should melt away a large quantity of ice as well as giving corporations incentives to keep releasing carbon dioxide into the atmosphere in order to maintain the image of global warming. Other anomalous influence should be used to prevent a greenhouse effect. A false flag operation from the foundation is to be made consisting of climate change deniers with arguments that lead actual climate deniers away from SCP-XXXX.
Description: SCP-XXXX is an effect which leads to global climate change at a much faster rate than what can be determined from fossil records. Multiple fires have been noted across the globe which have been directly caused by SCP-XXXX. Hurricane rates, large tornadic thunderstorm rates, and large downpour rates have all increased notably since the industrial revolution. While links to the industrial revolution have been investigated, no solid proof of causation has been found.
Since 19[DATA LOST]res of land have been lost, while coastlines across the Earth are threatened by rising ocean levels. The source of the water and de[DATA LOST] is unknown. It is estimated that the servers containing this article may become contaminated with water and [INFOHAZARD EXPUNGED] from SCP-XXXX.
