Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a 1.5m x 1.5m x 1.5m airtight plexiglass case. The chamber is to be equipped with three (3) industrial grade dehumidifiers. The presence of liquid is strictly prohibited inside the chamber, aside from during tests.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a white thick-plastic water bottle that is commonly used by athletes. SCP-XXXX is identical to normal plastic bottles in both shape and material, however its behavior is very different.
Any liquid placed inside of SCP-XXXX remains normal until the cap is placed on and tightened. Upon doing so, the liquid is immediately evaporated into the air within the plexiglass case, with the exception of water. Any liquid and/or subsequent evaporation has been designated SCP-XXXX-1.
When filled with water, capped, and consumed, the subject will quickly begin to experience the symptoms of dehydration; e.g. dizziness, rapid heartbeat, etc. Liquids consumed out of SCP-XXXX prior to being capped have no abnormal effects on the subject.
Addendum XXXX-1: Continued testing of the condensation created by the rapid evaporation within SCP-XXXX has shown us that the condensation affects subjects with the same symptoms of dehydration if consumed, however the symptoms take longer to appear, and increase their intensity at a much slower rate. Subjects who consumed this condensation started to feel symptoms of dehydration approximately two (2) days after their initial consumption.
