I'll test how tough the samples are soon, but I don't really like these woods. This old cabin is also infested with spiders. I've run into at-least 3 cobwebs since I came here. Fucking sucks.

Also, when I was taking sample 4 back to the cabin, I saw this dead fox. It was pretty disgusting, and it was half eaten, looking like somebody took a few big bites out of it's stomach. Also, it's eyes were hella baggy. Maybe it got really scared, but whatever it was, it gave me the fucking willies.

I am sorry for not writing back yesterday. Still feeling the effects of that hangover, and was pretty tired. All 10 samples of that rock patch have been tested, and I emailed the professor the results. Should I look for a different patch? Also, how's Hawaii? I'm sure the igneous rocks there are pretty exciting!

Well, I found this unconscious rabbit in the forest the other day while I was going to take a piss. Thing has some big, weird scratches, and was also hella sleepy. I tried to wake it, but turns out the the thing wasn't really asleep, just kinda sitting there. I brought it inside, patched it up, and made a makeshift cage. I'll call him Sleepy.

I was looking for a new sample for our project, and I saw this fox trying to attack this poor defenseless bunny. I stepped in, and patched the bunny up. I'm calling him Sleepy, cause of his big sleepy eyes.
Also, those samples look great. We are so gonna get a good grade on this project.

I am afraid I have horrible news. Your classmate, David Brown, was recently found dead in his grandfathers cabin. He had gone there to watch the place and complete the project, which I have given all students a Perfect grade on. The police have yet to announce anything more than his current condition. He was an energetic, fun, and optimistic student, and my condolences goes out to his brother and mother. Class is cancelled for the rest of the week.

The cleanup crew says he was suffering from Sleep deprivation, and now that they mention it, the kid had some messed up eyes. Worst part is, he's still alive. I wouldn't call it a coma, but the victim appears to be in a state of semi sleep. He was taken by some government looking guys, saying it was important that they had his body. I stuck around a while more, but all I found was some old laptop the first respondents accidentally broke. Also, if you send out any search parties, be careful. I swear I heard growling on my way out. Trust me, we'll find the monster responsible for this students death, but first I need some sleep. This investigation has made me really tired.
