SCPKING

A Picture of SCP-XXXX. Note the Small Needle at the top of SCP-XXXX's "head".

Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a marked water-skin made of dried crocodile skin. In the scenario in which dried crocodile skin is not available, any other durable dried non-human animal part may be used. This tube must be filled with a fluid with a viscosity of no less than 100,000 cP, as to ensure SCP-XXXX only slightly moves, as too much movement in any event could puncture and break its containment. A specialized Foundation variant of a paint shaker must be shaking SCP-XXXX's containment to ensure the liquid inside does not become solid in any way, as inorganic semi-solids have been known to activate SCP-XXXX's anomalous properties.

Description: SCP-XXXX resembles a plastic black hollow chess pawn, similar to pieces for the board game chess that were created in the 1990's. SCP-XXXX has a 10 mm long needle at its 'head', as well as the walls of the area inside SCP-XXXX absorbing all light, making it near impossible to look inside SCP-XXXX.

When SCP-XXXX's needle punctures any solid or semi-solid non-living material, it will generate a low hum. After 5-10 minutes, small humanoid beings, now called SCP-XXXX-2, will climb out SCP-XXXX's 'bottom'. SCP-XXXX-2 are made of the material SCP-XXXX was stabbed into. SCP-XXXX-2 are generally 5 mm tall, though this can vary by 1 mm. They posses near-human intelligence, and will immediately start 'terraforming' their surroundings. SCP-XXXX-2 does this by entering SCP-XXXX's 'bottom' and coming out with more of their base material, then proceeding to build shelters and objects out of the said material. If SCP-XXXX is removed and put into another substance, the previous material's SCP-XXXX-2's will remake a functioning model of SCP-XXXX, which continues to supply the SCP-XXXX-2. Removal of this makeshift SCP-XXXX from the base material will cause it to lose its anomalous properties. When not being view by any persons or equipment, the evolution process rapidly accelerates. Beyond these traits, the creations, reactions, progressions, and decisions made by SCP-XXXX-2 are specific to the material and circumstances of their creation. It should also be noted that SCP-XXXX should never puncture human skin or any part of the human body.

In addition, small fauna, know as SCP-XXXX-3 have been known to appear some time after SCP-XXXX-2. SCP-XXXX-3 are also made of the base material, but behave in a much more primitive way as compared to SCP-XXXX-2.

Addendum A-Recovery Report: SCP-XXXX was found by Foundation personal after police in the city of [REDACTED] were contacted by a civilian, who reported that somebody was setting off small firecrackers in the nearby warehouse. After investigation, it was discovered that half of the warehouse was covered in tiny cities and skyscrapers, spacecraft the size of gnats, and that everything there was made of rusty metal. The other half of the warehouse was reported to have the same overall structures, but with more rigid architecture, and that the material was a less rusted metal. As Officer [REDACTED] stepped in the warehouse, they accidentally and unknowingly stepped on a small less-rust city. Two minutes later, 15 small bombs, made of super-heated and condensed rusted metal, were dropped on the officer by a small fleet of passing spacecraft, causing severe 3rd degree burns and brain damage. After the Foundation exterminated both 'nations', two SCP-XXXX were found. One SCP-XXXX was currently injected into a rusty nail, and was in perfect condition. The other SCP-XXXX was broken, with only needle and part of the chess piece put into a somewhat less rusty nail. It is theorized the Rust and Less Rust 'Nations' were at war when they were found. Upon further examination of the warehouse, 30 other 'ruins' made of different rust/metal ratios were found, each with a different chess piece broken down in the middle.

**Test Log XXXX-01

Material: A 2 x 2 x 2 inch oak wood cube belonging to Dr. Richards.
Procedure: Dr. Richards injected SCP-XXXX into the block perpendicularly, then left and sealed the chamber. After 6 minutes, SCP-XXXX-2 started to emerge from the bottom of SCP-XXXX.
Results: The SCP-XXXX-2 were made of the same oak wood. Dr. Richards cut off the observation Camera after 2 minutes, and waited 30 minutes before turning the camera back on. Dr. Richards recorded that the SCP-XXXX-2 had made a small medieval town out of the wood, and appeared to be trading tiny sculptures and shapes of the wood as their economy. Dr. Richards then stopped off the feed again.
After another 4 minutes of no observation, the now-on camera revealed that a small battle had taken place recently. A few crow-like SCP-XXXX-3 were observed picking apart the broken and splintered remains of the 'deceased' SCP-XXXX-2. Test was stopped after Dr. Richards finished his notes. Security personal entered chamber and incinerated the small town, as well as the SCP-XXXX-3 on the battlefield.
Analysis: It appears that these SCP-XXXX-2 can 'die'. Further testing is required to see what else it takes to kill these things. - Dr. Richards

**Test Log XXXX-02

Material: A 1 x 1 x 1 blue plastic cube.
Procedure: Dr. Richards injected SCP-XXXX into the block, then left and sealed the chamber. After 5 minutes, SCP-XXXX-2 started to emerge from the bottom of SCP-XXXX.
Results: The SCP-XXXX-2 were made of the blue plastic. Dr. Richards observed SCP-XXXX-2 for 2.5 hours, periodically turning off then turning on the cameras to skip some time.
Dr. Richards recorded that he observed the first SCP-XXXX-2's life, which it spent moving small bits of blue plastic in and out of SCP-XXXX. After 153 observed runs, the SCP-XXXX-2 began to move notably slower. After 32 more observed supply runs, the SCP-XXXX-2 did not exit after entering SCP-XXXX. All of the SCP-XXXX-2 were incinerated by security personal after the test was ended.
Analysis: I seems SCP-XXXX-2 do have a lifespan, but the duration was short. More testing is required. . - Dr. Richards

Addendum B-Dr. Richard's notes: If humanity went from caveman-like gatherers to medieval villages in about 12000 years, and SCP-XXXX-2 did the same in 32 minutes, imagine what they could become if left alone for days. The recovery team said that they were not too far ahead of humanity now when we found SCP-XXXX originally. I hypothesize it has something to do with the material. Further testing is required. But for now, let's get this thing into a more secure container. If this thing were to puncture its containers walls, it could become a problem for the Foundation
