Special Containment procedures: All living instances of SCP-XXXX are to be stored in a 15x15x10 meter airtight containment chamber outfitted with a separate ventilation system. Any Foundation personnel assigned to SCP-XXXX is to be outfitted with a gasmask in order to bypass SCP-XXXX's CognitoHazard effect. Only five (5) instances of SCP-XXXX may be kept alive at the same time, any exceeding speciment is to be terminated and may be used for research.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a species of carnivour mammals native to the ████████ Forest, Finland. Their appearance resembles that of a member of the Canidae family with dark brown fur. Their dimensions vary around 1,60 meters in height and 2 meters in length excluding the tail. SCP-XXXX speciments also feature a bone crest along their spine from the head to the tail. The tail itself is entirely covered with sharp bone formations and is often used as a weapon. The length of the tail depends on the gender of the speciment, being longer for the males and shorter for the females. This is probably due to the hunting being mainly carried by male speciments.

All SCP-XXXX speciments emanate a CognitoHazard effect perceived through smell which lures their prey in a false sense of security and attraction to the creature, even while seeing it, making SCP-XXXX speciments able to kill their target without effort. The effect of the CongitoHazard grows stronger as the prey gets closer. While subjects outfitted with the proper equipment will not be affected by the CognitoHazard effect, SCP-XXXX speciments are nonetheless excellent predators using their claws and tail to kill their prey. SCP-XXXX speciment usually hunt in packs with moderate levels of organization and coordination.

Addendum 01 - Population Management Protocol
SCP-XXXX instances are free to reproduce, but any newborn is to be terminated after studing unless requested otherwise. In case of an adult SCP-XXXX dying or going over the age of 12 years, the instance is to be repalced with the first newborn of the same gender.

On November 10th 2018 several anomailes breached containment at site __ . All subjects were recontained successfully, however several parts of site __ suffered minor damage.

-Recording recovered from security cameras on subterrenean level 3-

November 11th 2018 - 03.45

Technician Frederick Carlson is seen checking the damage in maintenance tunnel 3-153. Several pipes part of the ventilation system have been pierced including one from SCP-XXXX's isolated ventilation system.
Technician Carlson works on repairing the pipes for the next hour. During this period he's unknowingly exposed to SCP-XXXX's CognitoHazard effect.
Soon after leaving maintenance tunnel 3-153 he approaches SCP-XXXX's containment chamber which is unmanned due to more personnel being required to aid containment of the anomalies which had previously breached containment. Technician Carlson opens the door to the containment chamber using the temporal level 4 acces allowed to the maintenance team to repair the damege inflicted to the facilty. He subsequently tries to pet the closest instance of SCP-XXXX and is quickly killed by it.
