Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a 2.5 m x 2.5 m x 3 m metal container, there should be no less than 17.5 meters from the metal container and the walls of the surrounding room. Any Attempt to interact with SCP-XXXX is strictly prohibited unless granted by a the site manager. All personnel entering the containment room must be equipped with high grade noise canceling headphones and are never permitted within 5 meters of SCP-XXXX unless granted by a site manager. The inside of SCP-XXXX’s cell at all times must be padded and air tight, along with soundproofing along the outside of the container. A gas back up generator should also be present and ready alongside SCP-XXXX cell. The cell should also be cleaned on a daily basis. No items of any kind are permitted inside SCP-XXXX’s cell unless allowed by the site manager. The sound proofing boards should be checked daily, and the container should also be checked for any cracks or holes during this time. In the event of a containment breach involving SCP-XXXX a dog trained to follow commands through pattern based beeps should be deployed to the vicinity of SCP-XXXX. Once the dog has captured the attention of SCP-XXXX the dog should be commanded to lead SCP-XXXX back to its containment chamber. The dog should then be commanded to enter SCP-XXXX’s cell. Once SCP-XXXX has entered its cell along with the dog, the door to the cell should be closed via the remote access panel inside the observation room of SCP-XXXX. The dog should not be retrieved from SCP-XXXX’s cell. All re-containment procedures should be conducted from the observation room of SCP-XXXX. At no time during the re-containment procedure should any individual come into sight of SCP-XXXX. Once SCP-XXXX has been re-contained another should be trained to follow the same beep patterns, at least one dog should be available on and off site at all times.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a humanoid that shows mostly average statistics of a human male. SCP-XXXX shows a lack of common knowledge towards things like politics, and war, and seems to be completely oblivious to death. SCP-XXXX spends most of its time sitting in the center of its cell crying, occasionally calling out for help from names currently unknown by the foundation, though it seems to only call out 3 names, of which are [DATA EXPUNGED]. In a test where SCP-XXXX was given a sheet of paper, and some crayons, it was shown to draw various pictures, most notably was one of a house with a family consisting of a boy, a woman and a dog of the level of which you’d expect from an infant. When questioned on these drawings SCP-XXXX had identified the boy in the picture as him, the women as “mama”, the dog as “Mr. Cuddles”, and the house as his. SCP-XXXX was then questioned on his mother, and the dog.
SCP-XXXX is also noted to be very fragile, and is extremely susceptible to any ailments or injuries. Through further testing it was concluded that SCP-XXXX’s injuries and ailments were often heavily exaggerated. A test showed that the common cold could induce a state of extreme pain and exhaustion on SCP-XXXX for the time it would on average effect a healthy 20-25 year old male. When in pain SCP-XXXX will enter a state of extreme weakness rendering it immobile. During this time the creature will release a noise which has shown to temporary deafen all humans within 20 meters, oddly, the noise still can be heard after a person has been deafened. the noise can also blow out the ear drum and cause permanent damage to the auditory lobe if close enough to the source. No form of protection seems to be able to completely protect someone from the sound, most forms of protection only act as a light dampener to the sound. It has also been shown that those who are deaf are still able to here the sound quite vividly. The sound has shown to have no effect on any other animals, aside from humans. The sound only lasts for about 3 seconds after any pain has been induced and doesn’t seem to effect other SCP’s. Afterwards SCP-XXXX will begin crying, and will generally stay in this period for 10 minutes after the pain has subsided.
SCP-XXXX has also shown an odd aversion to humans, though it has been seen that SCP-XXXX is actually attracted to the presence of other animals, and seems to enjoy petting and cuddling with them. Tests have shown that if SCP-XXXX comes within sight of a human it will enter a tense state and will attempt to avoid contact at all costs, even if it means causing itself pain in the process. It seems that the desire to escape contact with humans overrides the creatures intolerance to pain, but it has been shown that if SCP-XXXX does harm itself in an attempt to escape interaction with humans it will experience and emit the same effects once the encounter has successfully been fled. If SCP-XXXX becomes unable to escape contact with humans it will become violent and proceed to kill any humans within 1.5 meters of it. Once SCP-XXXX has escaped the encounter it will resume its docile behaviors.
The first discovery of SCP-XXXX was in urban ██████ in ████, when SCP-XXXX had gone to the doctor believing he had gotten pneumonia after experiencing a light cough this morning. The doctor, having seen him on multiple occasions with his mother knew that he was fine, but due to the desire to not have an angry mother on their hands, had decided to give SCP-XXXX a basic checkup. During the checkup the doctor noticeD irregular movement in the right elbow, the doctor preceded to test SCP-XXXX’s reflexes by inducing a small stimulus to the right elbow. SCP-XXXX’s mother had always opted out of “her boy” getting this checked, so the doctor had to explain that he would be inducing a small shock to SCP-XXXX’s elbow, and although it seemed hesitant, it eventually complied. It was then reported by a civilian 50 meters from the building that there was a sound that had “sent them to the ground covering their ears”. The direction the noise came was could not be determined by anyone who had experienced it, and could not be found by police. The foundation stepped in and was able to track the source back to the hospital, there they found that all people in the facility had become permanently deaf, and later examination found significant damage in the auditory lobe. The epicenter of the sound was discovered MTF in an examination room, there the body of a doctor who was identified as being [DATA EXPUNGED] was found with lungs that had seemingly imploded. The cause was later of this was later found to be the extreme loudness of the sound SCP-XXXX had emitted. Upon arrival of MTF SCP-XXXX had pleaded with MTF, and had been recorded saying, “Im sorry, I didn’t mean to do it. It just hurt a lot. Are you police? Mama told me to stay away from the police, she told me if I broke any law they would take me away from her, and they would hurt me a lot. Please don’t take me away from mama.” SCP-XXXX was then immediately transported to site ██, and underwent further examination before being permanently placed in site ██.
At the time when SCP-XXXX was found and brought to site ██ he was rather compliant with testing, as long as it did not involve pain, even then, SCP-XXXX was relatively compliant. During the time in which SCP-XXXX was there it was quite social and seemed keen on interacting with personnel, mainly wondering when it’s “mama” would be back. SCP-XXXX was told that he would not be seeing his “mama” for awhile, as for she had gone on vacation. SCP-XXXX showed to be quite confused by what a vacation was, and had to be informed as to what it was. SCP-XXXX still seemed to question why his “mama” would ever leave him though. SCP-XXXX was kept in a padded room with a twin mattress, and a bathroom with only a toilet, SCP-XXXX was allowed a shower once a week as per request. SCP-XXXX also requested a “play date” with a select few names, [DATA EXPUNGED], this was denied. SCP-XXXX was kept at this site for [REDACTED] and was then transferred to site ██, SCP-XXXX asked if he was going back home, he was told that he was not going home yet, and that he needed to go to another place so that he could be treated better. This seemed to make SCP-XXXX uncomfortable. SCP-XXXX was then silent for the rest of the trip.
Upon arrival to site ██, SCP-XXXX was prompted to leave the van, it complied. SCP-XXXX was silent the entire time, until it had arrived at its cell. SCP-XXXX then asked why his “mama” had left him, it was told that it’s “mama” hadn’t left it, and would only be gone a little bit longer. SCP-XXXX seemed sad after this and began to cry slightly. SCP-XXXX was then quickly placed in its cell due to a fear that SCP-XXXX may become angry, and attack the guards. SCP-XXXX however did not become aggressive and complied with orders as normal.
SCP-XXXX was tested on for about 1 year at site ██, it had undergone multiple tests on its pain tolerance and after that one year had managed to kill 11 D-class, and permanently deafen 2 facility guards, and 3 researchers. The first test involved a D-class given a kitchen knife, the D-class was instructed to cut SCP-XXXX, upon the moment that the D-class had slashed SCP-XXXX a noise was let out that sounded like a scream from SCP-XXXX’s cell, the researchers behind the soundproofed wall were permanently deafened, along with the two facility guards outside SCP-XXXX’s cell. A janitor not far from SCP-XXXX’s cell was also temporarily rendered deaf from the scream. The D-class inside the cell was killed almost instantly after his lungs had imploded from the sound. Following this event it was proposed that SCP-XXXX be transferred to a larger cell that was heavily sound proofed, this was approved by the site manager. From then on many other tests were conducted to accurately gauge the range of the noise that SCP-XXXX one involving a gun loaded with a single rubber bullet, a shock induced from a distance, and tear gas being being pumped into SCP-XXXX’s cell.
After about 1 year of SCP-XXXX’s containment SCP-XXXX became emotionally distressed, it’s requests for social contact had been denied several times thus far, every time it had become seemingly more depressed. SCP-XXXX was eventually approached by a therapist in order to evaluate its mental state. Upon the arrival of the therapist, SCP-XXXX Began to move away from him, till it was eventually backed into a corner by the therapist and questioned. SCP-XXXX responded to none of these questions, SCP-XXXX was asked what he thought about his “mama” and did not answer, though he did seem to become further emotionally distressed. The therapist attempted to approach SCP-XXXX but was quickly stopped at around 1.5 meters away from SCP-XXXX when it preceded to violently yell at the therapist before eventually pinning the therapist to the ground and pulling his spine out, which ultimately killed him. SCP-XXXX was then administered an anesthetic and while a metal box was built inside SCP-XXXX’s cell which SCP-XXXX was quickly placed into. Before this, SCP-XXXX had shown no sign violence towards someone, and how SCP-XXXX was able to pull the therapists spine out of his body with no tools whatsoever is still being determined.
After the incident with the therapist it was determined that SCP-XXXX required a new containment procedure and it was requested that it’s object class be changed to Keter, this was approved by the 05 council and testing on how SCP-XXXX could be contained safely commenced. It was eventually discovered that SCP-XXXX was relatively fond of animals, specifically dogs. This was then implemented to SCP-XXXX’s containment procedure and proved quite effective.
