Item #: SCP-4198
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4198 is to be kept glued to the floor and fully covered by a white silk blanket within a 10 x 10 containment zone when not being used for testing. No Foundation or D-Class Personnel over the age of 50 are allowed to use SCP-4198 in order to preserve it.
Description: SCP-4198 is a tall full-body mirror with an intricately carved wooden outline with particular emphasis on carving at the bottom and at the upper half and top of the mirror. If no alive beings are in direct view of SCP-4198, it's mirror part will remain dull and blurred. If any alive being, be it a human, cat, dog, bear, wolf, or any other animal is in direct view of SCP-4198, the mirror will display the subject in question, yet aged by about twenty (20) years. In the mirror's depiction, not only the face will change, but clothes, hair color, and hairstyle, if applicable.
SCP-4198 was first found in an old attic in the Vatican City by scholars in ██/█/198█. The Mirror was dubbed "The Mirror of Satan" by Catholics. After an outrage because of the mirror, the Foundation took notice of it and in a stealth operation conducted by a plethora of different Mobile Task Forces working together, SCP-4198 was acquired by the Foundation and sent to Site-█.
SCP-4198 shown without being covered.
