Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-5217 Is currently contained in Site-43 in ██████ section █, located in ██████████ Provincial Park, Lambton County, Ontario, Canada. Its in a 10x10x10 meter observation container with a Scranton Reality Anchor in the corner of a room attached to the container with a window for observing SCP-5217.

when moving SCP-5217 between containers it must be put in a 0.5x0.5x0.5 meter box with no windows or anyway to see the anomaly. If there is no S.R.A in the surrounding area then SCP-5217 MUST be kept in the box with no observation from foundation members. when experimenting with SCP-5217 station 2 or more MTF alpha 8 members outside of SCP-5217's cell before the test subject enters the room. If there is no guards at the door SCP-5217 will dash towards the door at a rate between 0.2 meters per second to 8 meters per second.

In the case of a containment breech MTF Alpha 8 will be dispatched with scramble goggles as to not look directly at SCP-5217. when SCP-5217 escapes it will as if looking for someone or something will travel in a strait line towards the village of █████ █████, Rocky Mountains, British Columbia, Canada. when recapturing SCP-5217 MTF Alpha 8 must find it and put a black bag over its head before it reaches █████ █████.after the black bag has been placed over its head it will wander around as if confused, and will gladly be escorted back to its containment cell.

If someone is near a S.R.A then they could freely observe SCP-5217 without seeing there own death

If a civilian or foundation member has looked directly into SCP-5217 without there being a S.R.A nearby then they are to be escorted to the nearest S.R.A as soon as possible. Once they get to the S.R.A enact protocol 5217-A.¹

in the rare case that it makes it way to █████ █████ enact protocol 5217-F²

Description:
SCP-5217 is a small, black sphere approximately 0.3 meters in diameter and has a volume of 0.014 meters and a radius of 0.15 meters. During testing a Class D touched it, and he reported it to have a slimy feeling, like a fish.

SCP-5217 seem to be capable of intelligent thought and it uses telepathy to speak to foundation members, attempts to find out more about it have been proven futile. SCP-5217 seems to have the intelligence of a 3 year old, there are hypothesis that it is still in its infancy.

SCP- 5217 is a reality warping anomaly, upon looking into the middle of the sphere subjects reported having seeing themselves dying often in horrific and gory ways³. After seeing there own deaths within a month the subjects would die in the exact way they described seeing. once the subject has seen there death they have reported having a sense of dread similar to a mild panic attack. if the subject is told that this the way they die then they will slowly go insane and on some rare occasions kill other people.

all attempts to prevent this death, besides one, have resulted in more death or injuries. these attempts have included but are not limited to:

1. 5217-A is a protocol where the person who sees SCP-5217 after being escorted to the S.R.A is given a bed, a months worth of food and water, a notebook for documenting there experiences and are monitored by level 3 researchers for anomalous effects. after the 1 month period foundation members are offered general anesthesia and civilians are give class-A Y-909.

2. 5217-f is the protocol for when SCP-5217 eventually gets to █████ █████, when SCP-5217 get there it will DATA REDACTED and when that happens A level 4 foundation member will contact 05 council and get permission to DATA EXPUNGED Any level foundation member (excluding Class d) could contact the 05 council and get permission to DATA EXPUNGED IF that does not work then a level 4 foundation member will send a nuke, the code to send this nuke is #████████
