Seeking Greenlights: Yes
Page Type: SCP Article
Genre (Optional): Comedy
Elevator Pitch: This SCP was originally thought to be a makeshift steam-powered generator of roughly 65w in power with no need for fuel of any kind. The foundations found it during a raid of a proto-sarkic cult performing a harvest on a local population. Upon further inspection of the generator, it was discovered that a burning hot burrito was heating the water inside.
Central Narrative: The foundation initially thought that the generator they recovered might use a form a sarkic magic to power itself. However upon a deeper examination of the generator, a burrito was found heating the boiler element. The burrito itself clocks a temperature of roughly 300 degrees Celsius at all times. Much higher than a burrito would need to be for reheating. The heating patterns and consistence of the burrito lead researchers to determine that the burrito was most likely microwaved before taking on it's anomalous properties. How it got into proto-sarkic hands, or why it was used as a power source are unknown.
Hook/Attention-Grabber: The base anomaly of a permanently hot burrito is weird enough, but having it been used as a power source as an origin adds a different unique layer.
Additional Notes: I plan to draft up a diagram for how a burrito powered generator could maximize it's power output.
