Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4139 is to be kept in
a standard containment cell of 3 x 3 meters. Personnel are not
permitted inside the containment chamber unless for testing.
Testing has to be permitted by personnel of Level 2 clearance
or higher.
Description: SCP-4139 is a jar of pickles made by Mt. Olive
Pickle Company. SCP-4139 was retrieved by the Foundation on
██/██/████ after the roommate of Andrew ██████ called
911 after Andrew started to [DATA EXPUNGED]
After SCP-4139 is consumed, subjects will enter a "drugged like
state" and describe the tastes of the pickles as "The best thing ever."
After the drugged state wears off, subjects experience extreme
stomach pains. The pickle that was consumed will reappear in the
jar 25 minutes after consumption. Testing for the effects of SCP-4139 was prohibited after the effects of SCP-4139 became worse, showing signs of insomnia, dementia, and schizophrenia in subjects.

Log-4139-A: D-4017 enters the containment cell at ██:██ on █/██/████
Subject is instructed to consume everything in the jar.
Subject: "What's this? Jus' a normal jar o' pickles?"
Researcher: "Please consume all the contents in the jar."
Subject begins to open the jar and consume it's contents.
Subject: "I feel, funny, like I want to eat more. It tastes funny"
Subject starts to rock back and forth in his chair and consumes more
pickles while laughing.
Subject: "This is GREAT!" Subject starts yelling. "TASTES LIKE THE BEST THING EVER!"
Subject starts jumping up and down in his chair while laughing at the top of his lungs.
Subject is ordered to drink the brine inside the jar. After finishing the brine, subject gets up and
lays on the floor.
Subject: "You're so funny Ralph!" Subject starts to talk to the floor, "Why Ralph? Why?"
Subject starts to gurgle and bang his head against the floor. Subject starts screaming
at ██:██.
Subject: "WHY? WHY? WHY?" An open gash is seen on the subjects head. "I'M FINE RALPH!"
Dr. █████ ends the test and orders 2 agents to contain D-4017. Subject resists and is put into a
straight jacket. Subject is hospitalized for trauma of the brain. Subject expires in hospital at ██:██.
