Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Keter Neutralized
Special Containment Procedures (Updated):
The family and relations of PoI-996 (William Davies) are to be kept under surveillance by Foundation personnel in the event of symptoms and abilities similar to that of SCP-XXXX manifesting in those individuals. The ashes of PoI-996 are also to be monitored. Individuals matching the description of PoI-996 are to be investigated by the Foundation.
SCP-XXXX is to be held in it’s cell in Site-XXXX. A force of security personnel is to guard the facility at all times. Audio and Visual feeds of the inside of the cell are to be monitored at all times by two security personnel. Twice a week, Dr. Manasterski is to attend a therapy session with SCP-XXXX, taking place in an On-Site therapy room. If any staff members start to exhibit symptoms of SCP-XXXX's effects, Dr. Manasterski is to be informed and the staff member(s) are to have their resultant conversation marked down for future reference. Additionally, 20 SRAs are installed at 10 meter intervals around Site-XXXX, and remain on and powered at all times. These SRAs are to be checked monthly, by On-Site Technicians, and replaced if necessary. 5 backup SRAs are available in the case of a replacement, and should be turned on to make sure no less that 18 SRAs are running at any time.
SCP-XXXX is allowed additional privileges, such as access to books, art materials, comfortable furniture and a computer with limited access to the internet, providing foundation approved material. If SCP-XXXX refuses to co-operate with Foundation personnel, these privileges are to be revoked, as well as comfortable furniture removed from its cell.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a Caucasian male, appearing 17 at time of initial containment. It resembles PoI-996 (William Davies), a comatose patient formerly situated in ██████ Hospital, United Kingdom having been put there after a car accident. SCP-XXXX appears to have briefly been affiliated with the anomalous group of Are We Cool Yet?, apparently seeking fellow artists. Due to this, SCP-XXXX was detained by local police numerous times, with crimes often related to large-scale vandalism.
SCP-XXXX appears to be an entity capable of vastly powerful ontokinetic actions. It also does not appear to require food or drink, maintaining its energy through unknown means. Nor does it appear to feel cold or heat, and stays at a moderate level of temperature. Despite this, SCP-XXXX will often still complain of being hungry or thirsty, fluctuating in relation to the health of PoI-996. Analysis of SCP-XXXX's brain patterns line up with those of PoI-996, and even though it actively moves and speaks, all analysis of brain patterns has resulted in patterns of comatose patients.
As well as this, SCP-XXXX appears to induce a secondary anomalous effect, but it appears to be mostly out of its control. This will often manifest in the warping of reality, holes and entrances appearing when no hole or doorway existed before. Individuals near SCP-XXXX will also sometimes involuntarily make conversation with SCP-XXXX or each other, and on these occasions appear to possess intricate knowledge of the life of PoI-996, which isn’t issued to the staff. These individuals will then cease to know of this information. This is the only anomalous effect not neutralized by the SRAs, indicating that this effect may not be morphographic in nature.
Manifestations of individuals known to PoI-996 and some apparently invented have also spontaneously appeared, but are incorporeal and unable to interact with people outside of SCP-XXXX. These include individuals such as: PoI-996's mother, often in an antagonistic role; a dark and inconsistent figure apparently supposed to represent PoI-996's father; PoI-996’s previous pet, a Labrador named Lewis who died of malnutrition; Youssef Rahman and Daniel Black, individuals identified as good friends of PoI-996; PoI-996's classmates, particularly one identified as Martha Dennis, who appears intermittently as a sexual partner to SCP-XXXX, despite no relationship existing in real life; and various neighbors and teachers identified as residents of ██████, PoI-996's hometown. Occasionally, individuals identified as potential members of AWCY? Have occasionally been seen in these sequences.
Prior to its containment, SCP-XXXX appeared to mostly have used its power for Artistic reasons, often manipulating and twisting buildings into sculptures and art installations. It apparently did this without consideration for people or places, and this has resulted in major disruptions to city infrastructure in most places it visited. The art pieces that result from this have been taken into foundation custody, and the public buildings damaged have been brought by the foundation and removed in most cases, some being left as permanent art installations as per request of several municipal councils.
SCP-XXXX seems to be mostly unaware of its connection to PoI-996, however Dr. Manasterski is a proponent of the theory that SCP-XXXX has instead deliberately forgotten this information due to its apparently traumatic nature. This is due to various inconsistencies when SCP-XXXX talks about the origins of its power. Specifically, in that SCP-XXXX seems to not remember any information about the time when it had its power in England. It states that it got them after a car crash it was involved in, but afterwards it seems to be completely hazy, being inconsistent with its story or outright dismissing it as unimportant. According to SCP-XXXX, it then used its power to fly across the Atlantic to the USA, in which it can remember information normally again, but before this point it seems to be unable to recall any events in detail. This is consistent with various examples of traumatic experience, where the brain stops giving access to the traumatic memories.
Discovery: SCP-XXXX was first taken into foundation custody in after majorly restructuring the architecture of █████ Zoological Park in ███████, Virginia to resemble what appears to be a giraffe choking on a soda can filled with money. Foundation agents in the Virginia state police came to investigate, administer amnestics and fix the damage caused by SCP-XXXX. Containment of SCP-XXXX by these agents proved unsuccessful, and MTF-287 DELTA was dispatched to the location. This proved unsuccessful still, and the situation turned into a major crisis for the foundation, as SCP-XXXX destroyed and vandalized a great deal more public property in order to escape confinement. Eventually, SRAs situated in strategic locations proved to nullify the abilities of SCP-XXXX, and he was then taken into foundation custody with extensive use of SRAs.
Further containment proved difficult still, as when it was first contained few SRAs were used, leading to a large-scale containment breach on 3/1/████ in which several other SCPs also breached. In fear of another catastrophic containment breach, SCP-XXXX was then moved to a uniquely constructed facility, Site-XXXX.
SCP-XXXX connection to PoI-996 was only discovered after preliminary medical examinations revealed its brain state. Medical examiners discovered that SCP-XXXX's brain appeared to be in a comatose state, despite it having full usage and capability to speak. This greatly aided in the search for the Identity of SCP-XXXX, as up until that moment Foundation assets in the British government had so far failed to establish SCP-XXXX's identity, as PoI-996 had no official documentation that included his image. PoI-996's mother, when asked, stated simply that this was due to the fact that her son had ever required the use of a passport or similar documentation. After finding PoI-996 to match SCP-XXXX's description, the Foundation managed to obtain the patient from ██████ hospital, whereupon he was brought to Site-XXXX. The Medical team then ascertained that PoI-996 showed no additional anomalous properties.
Dr. Paul: Good Morning, XXXX. Did you sleep well?
SCP-XXXX: How the fuck are you keeping me here?
Dr. Paul: We have our methods, XXXX. You are currently being inhibited by several SRAs, devices that project a morphogra-
SCP-XXXX: Yeah, yeah. Spare me the lecture. You got a machine that break reality as much as I do. Doubt it’s gonna stop me though.
Dr. Paul: Well, we shall see in time, XXXX. In the meantime, it seems you may be with us for a while. I suppose we should get acquainted?
SCP-XXXX: Whatever
Dr. Paul: First of all, what is your name?
SCP-XXXX: ZapricousSniper.
Dr. Paul: Yes, that is your “tag”, as it were. Are We Cool Yet? May accept that as a name, but we do not. So please, what is your name?
SCP-XXXX: ZapriciousSniper
Dr. Paul: XXXX, we reward co-operation with, uh, additional privileges. You can request these at your leisure. So, I’ll ask again. What is your name?
SCP-XXXX: Can I get out of my Cell?
Dr. Paul: I’m afraid not, but we could potentially give you access to a computer… with Foundation approved materials, of course.
[SCP-XXXX seems to think about it before agreeing]
SCP-XXXX: Oh, fine. It’s William if you must know.
Dr. Paul: Right then, William. Judging by your accent, you’re not from around here. Why exactly are you in the US of A?
SCP-XXXX: I don’t know, always wanted to go, I guess. We never had the money for it.
Dr. Paul: Why did you stay?
SCP-XXXX: Found some cool people here. Those AWCY? guys. In the end I left them, did my own thing. Then you fucks got me, so, thanks for that.
Dr. Paul: Right… and, uh, how long have you had these… powers?
SCP-XXXX: Why is that important?
Dr. Paul: Because we contain, William. We want to make sure nothing like this happens again.
SCP-XXXX: Uh, since the accident, I guess.
Dr. Paul: Could you clarify?
SCP-XXXX: No. I had an accident. That’s all you need to know.
Dr. Paul: Vey well. Back to the states, why did you never return to the UK?
SCP-XXXX: Didn’t want to, I guess.
Dr. Paul:And why was that?
SCP-XXXX: I mean, it was kinda weird. Especially the… stuff with Martha.
Dr. Paul: Hmm?
SCP-XXXX: It’s not important. I guess I didn’t really want to put everyone through that.
Dr. Paul: What about your mother? Wouldn’t she be upset if you left?
[SCP-XXXX laughs breifly]
SCP-XXXX: That bitch didn’t give a fuck about me when I got run over by a car, I doubt she’d care if I fucked off to america.
Dr. Paul: Strong words, William… but what’s this about a car?
SCP-XXXX: Fuck. Yeah, a car… accident, hospit- fuck.
Dr. Paul: A car accident in a hospital, hm?
SCP-XXXX: Yes.
Dr. Paul: Right. Now, I’ve already said we reward co-operation. We’ve been hunting Are We Cool Yet? for quite some time, and, uh, we’d greatly appreciate any information.
SCP-XXXX: Yeah, they said. Well, too bad. I don’t actually know that much. I think they probably suspected I wasn’t that into it, cos they never gave me any names. Just "Tags."
Dr. Paul: Tags are still helpful.
SCP-XXXX: Right, Well then
[SCP-XXXX then proceeds to list off names of many known and unknown AWCY? Members.]
Dr. Paul: Well, William, that’s enough for today. I’ll be back a few times, see if we can’t get any more information. But in the meantime I'll set up an appointment for therapy, twice a week. Taking place in here of course.
SCP-XXXX: Therapy? Why the fuck do I need therapy?
Dr. Paul: We’ll see, William. I’m sure of it.
<Begin Log>
Dr. Manasterski: Good morning, William. How are you finding the new facility?
SCP-XXXX: All 5 rooms of it?
Dr. Manasterski: You know exactly why this is necessary, William.
SCP-XXXX: Oh come on, I've been over this. You really think I intended to release the hell-beasts you had locked up in there? I would have been more fucking careful if I did.
Dr. Manasterski: Well, in any case you're here now. However, this affords us a lot more room to contain you. We have recently gotten some more… information courtesy of one of the security personnel, Agent ██████.
SCP-XXXX: That shit's still happening? I thought the whole point of moving me here was so that you could completely get rid of my "anomalies"?
Dr. Manasterski: It appears that that aspect of your abilities has not been neutralized by the SRAs. Anyway, he was noticed rambling to himself when situated at his guard post this morning. He was talking about your grandfather, mentioning that he might have had similar abilities. Can you confirm this?
Well, uh, now you mention it Mum used to tell stories about how he would sometimes go out at night, and weird shit happening. Can't remember much of it to be honest.
Dr. Manasterski: Please elaborate, William. Was he also seen at home by family when this happened?
SCP-XXXX: What's that got to do with it?
Dr. Manasterski: Answer the question, William. It could save a few lives.
SCP-XXXX: Uh… I don't know about that necessarily… but My Mum sometimes said she never knew how he got out… so… maybe?
Dr. Manasterski: And your grandfather never had any accidents? No extended periods of injury where he might have been unconscious?
SCP-XXXX: Nah, not really. Why is this relevant?
Dr. Manasterski: Excuse me, William. I have to make a call.
[Dr. Manasterski steps out of the room for 15 minutes to inform the Site archivist.]
Dr. Manasterski: Sorry about that. Do you remember possessing your abilities your "accident"? Possibly manifesting themselves at night, or other periods of extended unconsciousness?
SCP-XXXX: I don't know. I never really remembered my dreams.
Dr. Manasterski: What about stories from schoolmates or neighbors? Maybe of strange incidents going on in the cities?
SCP-XXXX: Well you always hear something, don't you? Some guy getting his face caved in, crashes, so on. One time, the entire front of the block one of the bars was in collapsed. Whole thing just suddenly exploded out. People said it was a gas leak.
Dr. Manasterski: Well, William, you've been very co-operative. Keep this up and we'll see about getting some nicer furniture in your cell.
SCP-XXXX: About fucking time.

Addendum XXXX-A:
After PoI-996 was obtained by the Foundation, Dr. Manasterski proposed an experiment to see the interaction between PoI-996 and SCP-XXXX. This resulted in the death of PoI-996 and the Neutralization of SCP-XXXX on 2/9/████. A transcript of the events can be found here:
