5027 is not confirmed, I just wanted a real number for the SCP so it was easier to read when being created
Item #: SCP-5027
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-5027 on it's own can not cause any harm to individuals who interact with it. Due to that fact, SCP-5027 is to only be contained under light containment and to be locked with in a reinforced glass box only to be opened by Level 4 personnel. If SCP-5027 is to be relocated, the object may be held with protective hand-gear as long as no direct contact is made with SCP-5027.
Physical Description: In appearance, SCP-5027 is a 20 x 6 cm black obelisk. SCP-5027 absorbs all light emitted onto it with a nearly friction-less surface. SCP-5027 emits different pitches and sounds that have no known source, see 5027a. The audio emitted seems to have a pattern that repeats every 14 seconds exactly however any attempts to decipher the frequencies have resulted in nothing. All attempts to measure the objects mass, density, or weight have all emerged as inconclusive as all instrumentation used, have displayed that the object doesn't exist, yet, those who have held it describe it to be light weight. Attempts to remove samples from the obelisk have resulted in fails, and are to be discontinued, see event 5027-B.
SCP-5027 has similarities to SCP-4900 and SCP-1050. No direct correlation can be made, but due to the similarities in design and function suggest the possibility of a shared creator. Some similarities discovered however with SCP-4900 are [REDACTED BY O5]. SCP-1050 also draws some similarities. Both SCP's are created out of
Anomaly Description: Whenever SCP-5027 has come into direct contact with a subject, said subject and SCP-5027 both instantaneously transport to location SCP-5027-1. Once SCP-5027 has lost contact with subjects, both SCP-5027 and the subject return back to location of testing instantaneously. Tests with animals do not yield the same outcome as they do not transport on contact. Any attempts to locate SCP-5072-1 have resulted futile. SCP-5027-1 is different based upon who is currently observing the location. Attempts to send more than one subject have resulted in both subjects disappearing without the obelisk and not returning, see event 5027-1C.
It is presumed that SCP-5027 is a gateway to SCP-5027-1 that only self aware beings can access. Each subject to observe SCP-5027-1 all describe the location to be an endless dark void with a stone floor. However, variations do occur in the description of the object present with them in SCP-5027-1. Subjects have described the following: a filing cabinet, a modern computer, a book shelf, a mobile device. It is believed that SCP-5027-1 displays itself to the subject in whatever means the subject comprehends information the best. Any attempts to retrieve information from SCP-5027-1 have resulted in a 100% death rate of subjects. Once a subject has gained information from SCP-5027-1, the subject becomes lethargic and detached from them-self. Approximately 5 minutes after exposure to SCP-5027-1's information, subjects bodies begin a complete organ failure and lack of motor skills. Only small amounts of information can be obtained by the subjects but not enough to warrant further testing.

Event 5027-1E:
Subject D-1652 was asked to open the filing cabinet and observe its contents. Upon return, D-1652 only repeated the same string of numbers.
<Begin Log, [ 04:30:16 ██/██/████ ]>
Dr. ██████ : This is interview 5027-1A with subject D-1652. Can you please describe to me what you read in the filing cabinet?
D-1652:

56855092Dr. ██████: What is the significance of these numbers?
D-1652:

56855092Dr. ██████: Sir please can you describe what these numbers mean? Here, use this if needed.
Dr. ██████ slides a notepad and pen across the table.
D-1652:
143233666878611797136851084683911318133544103432954422543067174713903372372
56855092D-1652 begins to write on the notepad while still muttering the number sequence.
Dr. ██████: Very good
D-1652 begins to convulse and lose consciousness
Dr. ██████: Please remove the subject and take him to the infirmary.
Dr. ██████ picks up the pad of paper with a shocked expression.
Level 4 Observer: What does it say doctor?
Dr. ██████ Atoms… This concludes test 5027-1E. Get me a call with the O5's right now.
<End Log, [ 04:34:29 ██/██/████ ]>
Closing Statement: Subject D-1652 was pronounced dead at 04:38:56 ██/██/████. Subject D-1652 will be the last subject to test SCP-5027 and SCP-5027-1's contents.
Event 5027-B:
An attempt to use a high powered laser to remove a sample of SCP-5027 which resulted in a failure.
<Begin Log, [ 16:45:31 ██/██/████ ]>
Dr. ██████: This is sample retrievel test 5027-B. Mechanical means of retrieving samples have failed. For this test we will attempt to use a two-petawatt laser or two-thousand (2,000) trillion watt laser to remove a sample from SCP-5027. Begin sample retrievel now.
Sounds of laser powering up.
Loud audible spark emitted when laser makes contact with SCP-5027, resulting in a massive explosion with no physical harm to SCP-5027.
Dr. ██████: Attempt 5027-B is a failure and all further attempts are to be discontinued.
<End Log, [ 16:47:53 ██/██/████ ]>
