Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be stored in a standard anomalous object containment locker and may only be removed for testing purposes. SCP-XXXX may only be opened and read by D-class personnel unless express permission is obtained from the Site Director.

Any tests involving SCP-XXXX must be conducted in a locked testing chamber fitted with standard audio and video recording equipment. Test subjects engaging in tests with SCP-XXXX are to wear an explosive collar that can be detonated remotely.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a parchment scroll measuring 27 by 63 cm when fully unrolled. When a person (designated SCP-XXXX-1) unfolds SCP-XXXX an instruction will appear written on its paper, in whatever language or form is readable by SCP-XXXX-1¹. SCP-XXXX-1 will make it their utmost priority to follow the presented instruction immediately upon reading it, even foregoing basic necessities such as food consumption until the task is completed. If SCP-XXXX-1 is unable to complete the task, it will typically perish within 3-4 days due to dehydration unless kept alive artificially.

Description: D-2931 was instructed to unfold SCP-XXXX and read the instructions presented within. D-3054 was instructed to ensure SCP-XXXX remain opened and read the instructions after D-2931 had done so. After opening SCP-XXXX, D-2931 immediately proceeded towards the door of the test chamber and started attempting to open it. D-3054 was able to read the instruction and relay it to Researcher █████ without being affected by the item's memetic properties. This test confirms that SCP-XXXX's memetic effect only targets the person that actually opens it, rather than anyone that views the instruction. The following tests list the presented instructions verbatim as observed through the camera feed.
