This book was first recorded in the late 1300s by a monk who found it in the Vatican. This book has been known as a bestiary of sorts… It contains knowledge of all living creatures in our universe. Not only that but it contains information on rituals and ways to contact beings of the unknown. Once a human gets their hands on it, they become demented by the things they have seen or read. Once someone is in possession of the book they become obsessive, violent and would even go as far as destroying everything they hold dear because of the book. It is said that if you even catch a glimpse or open the book you go crazy making the book innacseible. Testing of watching the book through cameras or photos or even drawings make people crazy. People confirmed to have had the Book include HP Lovecraft, Edgar Allan Poe, Virginia Woolf, Vlad the Impaler and many more.

The book also speaks of creatures that have not been born yet or that are roaming the universe. The reason this book is so dangerous is because many of the rituals could destroy the universe just as easily as to create a new one. In the wrong hands world domination would be as easy as to the snap of the fingers. The book has descriptions of Demons, Gods of sorts and horrifying creatures. It also contains all information on SCPs. Testing has not been successful yet so in the meantime the book has been quarantined in an unknown compartment only the o5 and specially trained staff know of location.
**Addendum: It is also said that anyone who opens the book loses their soul to an unknown demon that is the only creature not mentioned in the book. They have the sense of dread that spreads with anyone in contact.
