Scp-5863 is to be kept in a standard objects locker in site 49.

description:

Scp-5863 is a single metal drinking canteen, YETI brand. It can hold up to 35 fluid ounces and is watertight. Scp-5863 acts as a normal liquid holder, until a human comes into physical contact with an animal within 2 minutes of drinking from it, it which point it's anomalous properties manifest. After initial exposure, the person who did the above (now refered to as scp-6863-1) will undergo a long, albeit painless, process. Over the next 73 hours scp-6863-1 will begin to transform into an anthropomorphic, intelligent, version of the aforementioned animal.
