Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4092 is to be stored in a high-value inanimate-item cell at Sector-19. One armed guard is to be posted inside the cell at all times to prevent anyone from wearing it or tampering with it.
Description: SCP-4092 is a supposedly golden crown with three gems of unknown substance implanted in it. The third gem is easily removed and can be removed to lessen the powers that are given with wearing the crown. The crown is seemly indestructible and cannot be dented or scratched, other than the third gem being able to be taken out with relative ease.
When worn, the crown gives the users faint powers to dispense ice from the hands or even prosthetic hands. Over time, the crown gives more and more power and the user's hair begins to grow out and turn white. A thin white beard will appear anywhere from 17 hours to 1 week of wearing the crown. After one month of wearing the crown, the user will begin to grow a very long beard that measures from 1 meter to 1.6 meters in length with equally long hair. The user will be mostly bald as well, except for a small tuft of hair poking from the top of the user's head. Notably, the hair will stop growing after exactly one month of wearing the crown, unless it is removed within that time. The user will seem to grow in age very quickly, changing skin color from any color to light blue. They will get progressively skinnier as well, especially around the gut area. Even when the waist of the user is only 10 inches (25.4 cm), they still show strength of a normal elderly man of around 80 years. This applies to bone strength as well as wrinkling of the skin. Even if a bone is broken, the user can just straighten the bone and it will heal within seconds. Things like teeth reform after time, although this can take from one hour to two day. The user will proclaim to be "The Ice King" if male and "The Ice Queen" if female.
The user begins to be able to fly when growth of hair is stopped. Beyond this point in wearing the crown, powers have been enhanced to be able to shoot ice shards at anywhere from 139 mph (224 km/h) to 3,852 mph (6,199 km/h). This speed is enough to pierce through an inch of steel, but the ice melts due to friction from the air. The user can also create over 981 tons of ice without passing out, all while flying with the beard. The user has the ability to make up to 2 pounds (0.9 kg.) of a solid ice that almost never melts within the span of 2 days. This ice will melt when put into temperatures above 9,200 degrees Fahrenheit (5,093 degrees Celsius) and can theoretically survive being put on the surface of the sun.
The predicted age of this object is over 19,500 years old and was found in the world's largest tree, a sequoia (Sequoiadendron giganteum) in California's Sequoia National Park in █/██/████. When the tree itself was discovered, shortly later the top of the tree was seen to have SCP-4092 in it.
