Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5427 is to be contained within a 5m x 5m x 5m containment unit, and monitored at all times. A backup standby generator is to be connected to all surveillance equipment for the possible event that the main power supply is terminated. Two armed guards are to be stationed at the entrance of the containment hallway but are restricted from entering the said hallway. All personnel with the exception of Class-D are unauthorized to proceed into the containment hallway. All permitted Class-D personnel entering the containment hallway are to wear Telepathic Guard helmets (TG helmet), specially designed to protect against the telepathic abilities that SCP-5427 possesses. In the event of a containment breach, Sector B-34-1 on Site-██ is to be locked down immediately, and MTF unit Epsilon-11 "Nine-Tailed Fox" are to recontain SCP-5427. Recontainment is to be prioritized over evacuation.
Description: SCP-5427 is a humanoid figure that measures 2.2 meters in height. The subject's skin is similar to the texture of oak tree bark and has a color similar to that of ash. SCP-5427 has five fingers each ending with brittle nails that come to a sharp point, capable of tearing human flesh. The subject's face resembles that of a human but lacks a nose and contains a disproportionate mouth. The color closely matches that of collagen bones found in most organisms. The subject's mouth is lined with two rows of jagged teeth which are primarily used when eating its victims. SCP-5427's body is completely devoid of hair. Six crimson-colored glyphs can be seen on the subject's chest. These glyphs have been observed to glow with a carmine hue when the subject exhibits aggressive behavior. Aggressive behavior is seen when SCP-5427 has a direct line of sight of a human. Recorded speeds of SCP-5427 have peaked at 103 kilometers per hour. The subject does not require food or nutrients to survive but will consume human flesh when given the opportunity.
In circumstances of extreme physical stress, a red puddle-like substance, believed to be an entrance to an alternate dimension, materializes directly below SCP-5427, who proceeds to sink into the ground until not visible. It is believed that the supposed alternate dimension directly correlates to the vast crypts found in ████, ████████ (see Addendum 5427-B).
Discovery: Approximately ten percent of the population of the small town ██████ in Oregon had reported to the local police sightings of a large figure in nearby forests. Missing cases were officially linked with said reports. Two police task forces were sent out to investigate, failing to return, causing dispatch of MTF Epsilon-6 "Village Idiots." Four out of the ten operatives successfully returned with SCP-5427 in a transportation cell. The subject was then relocated to Site-██ after simple examinations were made.
