Special Containment Procedures: SCP-1966-J is stored at site-15's safe object wing, it is only to be activated when testing. It is never to be activated. it is never to be plugged in. its main power cord has been permanently disconnected and all maintenance crew are forbidden from entering SCP-1966-J's storage room unless ordered to by an O5 council member under any conditions, this containment measure can't be over ruled.
Description SCP-1966-J is a set of two (2) metal pods, each has a sliding door and a sign with the text 'Travel-O-Matic' in black lettering on a white background; this sign also has a built in light that will activate its respective pod is plugged in to a standard US power outlet.
When someone uses one of the SCP-1966-J pods their body is converted to energy then transfered to the other pod via a wireless signal. Once the energy reaches the other pod it is converted back into the person who utilized SCP-1966-J. SCP-1966-J's anomalous effects manifest once the teleportation progress is complete; anyone who was directly observing this will suddenly start a casual debate about wither or not the person utilizing SCP-1966 is themselves or an exact duplicate. These debates will become more heated until violence occurs and everyone involved in the debate is killed, with the exception of SCP-1966's user.
Discovery Log SCP-1966-J came to foundation attention when it an agent within a General Electric research facility reported that every engineer had gotten into a fight to the death. Eventually SCP-1966-J was located within the research facility and all security tapes were confiscated. The effects were discovered after it was brought to the nearest foundation site for temporary testing, this resulted in incident 1966-J-A1.
