Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5731 cannot be contained at this time, any and all instances/encounters of SCP-5731 are to be reported to any nearby Clearence-Level 4 guard
Description: SCP-5731 is a long armed, legged, neck, and chested creature, head size normal, coming in at approximately 2.5 meters exactly, SCP-5731 has no face, their skin has the texture of gravel, and, as stated, "Looks like burnt charcoal", with absurdly long and skinny hands, having 3 fingers and no thumbs
SCP-5731's voice is as stated "gravelly, deep, and oddly echoes as if it were in a large room.", various reports have given more or less he same results with an added note "if it didn't echo, you probably wouldn't be able to understand what it was saying."
Whenever SCP-5731 appears, only the subject, (which shall from this point forward be referred to as SCP-5731-1) will be the only one able to spot and speak to SCP-5731, upon arriving within a 250 centimeter radius, will tilt their head to assumingly look at SCP-5731-1 and begin talking "What debts do you have unpayed." And will repeat themselves every minute until they get a response, once they are given a response, 1 of 3 things can happen.
- If responded with anything other than a debt, they will begin repeating themselves again
- If they are given a debt that SCP-5731-1 has not repayed, SCP-5731 will forcefully repay it, whether it be blood, money, soul, favors, etc, after which SCP-5731 will leave the room and disappear out of sight
- If they are given a response that is a debt someone hasn't repayed SCP-5731-1, SCP-5731 will respond with "I shall fix your debt, patience." After which SCP-5731 will leave the room and disappear out of sight, in 1 to 7 days, the subject with the unsettled debt with SCP-5731-1, (Which from this point on shall be referred to as SCP-5731-2) will repay the debt in any way possible, be it blood, money, soul, favors, etc, and then will continue on with their daily life
Note that whenever SCP-5731-1 directly speaks with SCP-5731, SCP-5731-1's voice will completely cut-out and will be pure silence, other than inhalation, if at anytime SCP-5731-1 speaks with someone else during the encounter, they will begin speaking normally once again, referencing SCP-5731 in any form does not seem to trigger any reaction in it.
Senior Researcher Dr. Kerisher has stated it is better not to give them amnestics, as it could do more harm when they realize they're missing some of their blood, money, etc, and do not know why.
Some personnel report seeing SCP-5731 again at some point in their home, in the foundation, more detailed are spotting him at the edge of their bed if they wake up in the middle of the night, others see him walk through a cross way right past the, feeling watched the entire time in both scenarios, no other post-repayment encounters have been reported as of this time.
Instances of SCP-5731-1 range from ages 19 to 59, all cases show the subjects were having high stress at the time, and after thr debt was settled they were either lightly calmed, or extremely worried and even more stressed, 23% of cases end in SCP-5731-1 committing suicide, 43% end with SCP-5731-1 becoming depressed, possibly indulging in legal/illegal influencal drugs, recovering, and going back to their normal life, 34% end in SCP-5731-1 attempt to forget the scenario, and temporarily go into a quiet recovery phase in which they will stop talking to people, isolate themselves, binge solo activites, and keep to themselves
All cases of instances of SCP-5731-2 will be mildly traumatized, and temporarily paranoid for a period of 3 to 6 days, before recovering and going back to their normal life.
