Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is presently contained by the arrangement of 4 four thaumaturgically empowered standing stones, designated SCP-XXXX-1-4, on the Isle of Mull, Scotland. Erected in the early 1800s, SCP-XXXX-1-4 have been ritualistically aligned with the four cardinal directions, and encompass a rectangular area of 1.5km². SCP-XXXX is unable to pass beyond this perimeter. As such, Foundation personnel are to ensure SCP-XXXX-1-4 remain undisturbed. Research is ongoing regarding ways to ensure the continued alignment of SCP-XXXX-1-4 and mitigate anomalous and mundane threats to their existence.

Description: The physical appearance of SCP-XXXX is inconsistent. The entity is most commonly described as resembling a humanoid, approximately 1.4m tall and missing between one and four fingers on its right hand. Personnel witnessing the entity uniformly comment on its face resembling an individual they know of, but have not recently seen.¹ When recorded, such facial features are absent, and no discernable extension of the entity appears above its torso.

When an individual approaches the boundary formed by SCP-XXXX-1-4, the entity will manifest and attempt to persuade the individual to move, deface, or desecrate one SCP-XXXX-1-4. SCP-XXXX is known to attempt to threaten, plead, and bargain with the individual - often cycling through several different attempts - in a voice commonly described as similar, but not identical to the individual whose facial features it imitates.

Addendum: Following a season of heavy rainfall, soil erosion revealed the presence of a mechanical device beneath SCP-XXXX-3. Subsequent examination revealed the device to be a 5th-Generation Scranton Reality Anchor, which was first produced by the Foundation in 2018. Identical devices were uncovered beneath SCP-XXXX-1,2, and 4, and appeared to be thaumatergically linked to the standing stones through unknown means. The serial codes on the devices conformed to a series of 5 SRAs that went missing from Site-83 in December of 2019. An investigation into the missing equipment has been reopened.

Summary: On 18, December 2019, five 5^th Generation Scranton Reality Anchors were reported missing from the paratechnology research laboratory at Site-83. The day prior, they had been transferred from the on-site barracks to the laboratory for routine, pre-approved diagnostics. The window for the theft is suspected to have occurred between 2pm - 11:30pm the day prior, during Site-83 annual Christmas party. At some point during this window, these items were taken off-site by an unknown party.

Recently acquired records from Jean & Jean Transtemporal Shipping indicate they fulfilled a shipping order presumably related to this theft. These documents confirm an unspecified pickup occurring on the night of 17 December 2019, to be delivered to the Port of Glasgow, 23 November 1793. Notably, these records indicate that J&J Transtemporal merely transferred the items following their removal from the site.

Location: Site-83 is composed of three main buildings: the primary containment, research, and administrative building; the enclosed dry-docks and shipyard; and the naval personnel barracks.
