Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4909 is stored in an EMP proof room, 50 meters by 50 meters in diameter. SCP-4909 must be kept in the center of the room, with only one blast proof door. SCP-4909 must not be connected to the internet, unless with O5 Council order. Access to SCP-4909 must only be done with O5 Council permission. There must at all times be a team of 6 MTF-A1 guards outside the door.

05 Council Directions : THE SERVER MUST NOT BE CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET, UNLESS 05-COUNCIL PERMISSION IS GIVEN. NO ELECTRONIC DEVICES, MAY NOT BE ALLOWED IN THE ROOM. NO PERSON IS AUTHORIZED TO ENTER THE ROOM WITHOUT 05 COUNCIL ORDER.

Description: SCP-4909 is a bank server that formerly belonged to █████████.PVT LTD.It was managing online transaction at 500,000 transactions per second. However MTF-ALPHA 4 detected an anomaly. The server was operating with anomalous inputs from an unknown source. It looks like a regular ██████████ server unit. However the processor is from unknown origin.

Upon accessing the server terminal, and running tests, the processor seemed to operate with impossible performance listed bellow.

+ TEST RESULTS

. Test results.

• On testing the processor, it was identified to have ████ cores.
• It operated at ██████Ghz.
• The processor runs at a constant 89% capacity, increasing the capacity proves to be impossible.
• The processor rejects any command to increase its operating capacity.
• The processor remains cool, at a constant 2 degrees Celsius. Heating or cooling the processor proves to not change any thing.

Conclusion : The processor is of unknown origin, has no markings on it, and its performance is impossible to achieve. The highest clock speed ever achieved is 8.99 GHZ. This processor runs at ██████ which is anomalous. Doctor ████████████ believes that the processor contains a sentient AI that is using the internet to manipulate the banking transactions.

It has been decided that the AI is manipulating banking transactions, increasing or decreasing amounts in transactions for unknown reasons. Upon inspecting the console, it was revealed that it has the option to manipulate transactions in to the account specified. Doctor ████████████ manipulated transactions from the Reserve bank of ██████████ to his own account, amounting to a 1 billion dollar scandal.

MTF Alpha-1 ("Red Right Hand") immediately mobilized to apprehend Doctor ████████████ and secure the site. the O5 Council declared SCP-4909 is to be handled only with O5 Council order due to the nature of its capabilities. The server was transported to site - 15 where it remains today as with extensive security measures put in place. Orders from the 05 council made it so that SCP - 4909 is not connected to the internet.

SCP 4909 is involved in multiple banking scandals, many bank users claim that their money simply "dissapeared" from their accountant, and ATM dispensing less / more amount of money specified, transfers transferring more / less than specified etc.

Strict notices have been sent out to all banks to chalk these events as "Accidental computing malfunctions" to hide the anomalous nature of SCP-4909.

+ INPUT CREDENTIALS

During initial testing, Doctor A.Khan opened the servers terminal, due to the fact that he did not have 05 Council order to connect the server to the internet, the terminal showed a message "Not Connected to the internet".

Upon receiving an order from the 05 council to test the system connecting it to the internet, Doctor A.Khan proceeded to open the terminal, the connection was monitored to make sure all manipulations are recorded, so they can be revised.

• Opening the terminal showed a message, "A.I Controlled banking server, provided by ████████"
• After bootup, the message changed to "Influencing transactions for a better world!" for 5 seconds.
• The message then changed to "Enter account number","Bank Name", "Add balance ( + or - )".
• During this time, the server already changed 187,456 transactions, which was recorded and shortly reversed.
• The system was able to change the balance of any account number in any bank.

Doctor A.Khan disconnected the server from the internet, and ordered all manipulations to be immediately reverted.

+ INPUT CREDENTIALS

Doctor A.Khan reviewed the manipulations and found that the server was increasing balances of people who had done a "Good" deed during the time it was active, and deducted balances of people who had done a "Bad" deed during the time it was active.

Examples include:

• U.S Senator █████████, 180,000 USD Deducted from his account because he accepted a bribe at that time.
• Doctor ████████ who was engaged in helping victims in syria had 85,000 USD added to his account.
• Police Officer ██████████ who had accepted a bribe had 12,500 USD deducted from his account.
• [[DATA EXPUNGED]] had 1,800,000 USD deducted from his account because he had█████ █████ ██████ █████ ██████ at that time.

Doctor A.Khan concluded that this machine had deep understanding of what people were doing. In 17 cases doctor A.Khan analysed, it seemed that they had some sort of Video monitoring equipment from ████████████ Enterprises near them, which allowed the server to monitor their activities?

Doctor A.Khan strongly advises that the device NEVER be connected to the internet, as in the 2 minute period it was connected during a test, it influenced 135,642 transactions.

This server single handedly posses the ability to bring the worlds economy to its knees.
