Item#: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Secure Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept within a ten (10)
foot by ten (10) foot by ten (10) foot containment cell with an eight (8) foot by three (3) foot high strength steel door containing a five (5) inch by two (2) foot abscess to allow for material testing (see SCP-XXX test logs). SCP-XXXX is to be hung three (3) feet above one (1) D-class cell bed. All personnel that are to enter SCP-XXXX containment cell or the cell's adjacent room are to be under the supervision of at least one member for Security Staff in and out of stated areas. All attempts to enter SCP-XXXX's containment cell or the cell's adjacent room without sufficient supervision will be grounds for termination. In events of containment breach of SCP-XXXX Security Staff regardless of risk are to enter SCP-XXXX's containment cell, find, and remove SCP-XXXX-U from SCP-XXXX-1 (see Description).
Description: SCP-XXXX is a non-traditional broken dream catcher with a measured radius of three (3) inches. The body of the of the dream catcher consists of light blue string wrapped wire. light blue yarn assumed to once create the net of the dream catcher lies broken and frayed as it hangs from the body of the dream catcher. A string of red twine connecting itself to the top of the dream catcher and a single red tassel containing seventy-three (7) smaller strands of red twine which lies in the center of the body of the dream catcher.
Anomalous behavior manifests in only a single person who is closest to SCP-XXXX, either within the room or in an adjacent room behind a door from the location where SCP-XXXX is hung are the ONLY places that SCP-XXXX's anomalies are inflicted upon a person. When a person is located in either of the described locations. SCP-XXXX induces unshakeable fatigue until subject leaves the containment cell and/or adjacent room(s). otherwise, the afflicted subject will actively seek out and rest in the bed SCP-XXXX is hung over. When events as such occur the bed in which SCP-XXXX is hung above is to be referred to as SCP-XXXX-1.
Once the afflicted subject lies in SCP-XXXX-1 an unconscious state will take effect within the subject. Persons resting in SCP-XXX-1 are to be referred to as SCP-XXXX-U.
SCP-XXXX-U cannot be awoken from their unconscious state unless they are removed from SCP_XXXX-1. When SCP-XXXX-U is resting in SCP-XXXX-1, all stationary cameras within SCP-XXXX's containment cell will broadcast static and any and all clear surfaces allowing sight into SCP-XXXX's containment cell turn opaque allowing only nondescribable features from within the room to be seen.
Though sufficient testing has not yet been able to be conducted yet. SCP-XXXX seems to turn its containment cell into a dreamscape seemingly that of SCP-XXXX-U's dreams specifically (No testing has been able to be conducted to confirm or deny that the dreams come from SCP-XXXX-U). SCP-XXXX's containment cell in the event of a present dreamscape changes its size to fit all aspects needed for the dream. It has been noted that sentient beings and objects that have manifested within the containment cell during a dreamscape state have and may actively try and escape containment. creatures as such have ranged from docile to extremely aggressive. Extreme caution must be taken when venturing into such dreamscapes for research purposes.
Once SCP-XXXX-U is removed from SCP-XXXX-1, objects and sentient beings created by SCP-XXXX disappear after all witnessing individuals see a bright flash of blue light. Test subjects after resting in SCP-XXXX are reported of having no memory of ANY dream they have had recently or in the past. Test subjects have also reported feeling extremely rejuvenated and when given exams that test their academic ability before and after resting in SCP-XXXX. Exam scores of test subjects after resting in SCP-XXXX-1 are on average sixty-three (63) percent higher than before resting in SCP-XXXX-1.
