Description: SCP-4978 is a humanoid figure measuring up to 3 meters. Research on SCP-4978 has concluded that the skin of SCP-4978 is replaced with hair and in place of where the organs should be is [REDACTED]. SCP-4978 doesn't breathe, it sails a wooden boat, measuring around 4 meters, and is so far known to be indestructible. SCP-4978 is easily triggered from a loud thump, due to sailing on the seas where thunderstorms are the regular, upon one of these loud thumps, SCP-4978 will sail at speeds of 600 miles per hour to the creator of the noise, it will then proceed to get out of the boat, giving it the ability to stand, it will then grab the entity, and use [REDACTED] thus making them unconscious, it will then proceed to swim down to its nest (breeding ground) and lock them in a cage (6000 feet under sea level) when the victim wakes up they will drown, struggling to escape due to how cold the water would be, after the victim’s passing, SCP-4978 will return to it’s boat and rest until the next thump, research by [REDACTED] shows SCP-4978 only responds to living organisms, so far only 20 cases of this has occurred, as said by [REDACTED] himself.

The entity was spotted at the south Atlantic Ocean for a brief moment,then dived down into its breeding ground at 482.803 kilometres (approximately speeds of 300 miles per hour) with the victim, it returned to its boat 30 minutes later.

SCP-4978 was seen in the north atlantic ocean,this time, SCP-4987 was seen holding two people (presumably the owners of the boat).SCP-4978 returned 45 minutes later.
