The Ember Blessing

It was just a standard day in Edinburgh and Ember was eating at a restaurant, being the savvy detective that she aspires to be she notices a man wearing a strange necklace. The necklace was off a symbol Ember had never seen before but she swears she recognises it.
"Cheque please!" Ember enthusiastically shouted and promptly paid. She proceeded to follow the man im the strange necklace as she was always eager for adventure. As far as Ember could tell the man was not aware of his "stalker" and it was about 10 minutes before anything interesting happened. The man went into an abandoned warehouse. It looked derelict, desolate, no one worked here for decades. Why is the man here? Ember pondered. It was in an instant she saw it. A door that was very rusty and dirty but she could make out the symbol that was on the man's necklace. Always the curious Ember went to open the door but as soon as contact was made she saw a weird spiralling rift, it is how she always pictured the inside of a black hole. Time was strange wherever she was and perhaps a few seconds later she found herself inside a tribal yet modern city. It was incredible and just for a moment she was speechless. There were some skyscrapers that surpassed the clouds and very attractive flowers. In her moment of awe, Ember was discovered by someone.
"Hey, wait, how are you here?"
Before Ember could answer the man in the necklace showed up.
"I see it worked Ember, I had a feeling you were a Wyvarian"
"You knew I was following you?, Wyvarian? What do you mean?" Shuddered Ember.
"It's a lot to explain but hey guess you're my daughter!"
"My birth father died in a plane crash" Ember ushered.
"Ah a lie your mother said. Assumingly to keep you out of this world, Listen i know this is hard to explain but we are a secret commune of people 100% attuned to the universe. Whenever one of us is born the universe decides where we best fit in. I'm a Lambent Wyvarian". Spurted out the man in the necklace.
"I'm Carmine by the way but call me dad. Although probably too soon aha".
Ember looked on at Carmine in confusion.
"Lambent Wyvarian?"
"Yes I control light, see"
Carmine proceeded to make the area they were in even brighter.
"This is too much, until I have proof I refuse to believe you're my father"
"Fair enough" said Carmine in a slightly disappointed tone.
"Why am I here?, Did you know I was following you?" Pressured Ember.
"I hoped"
"The fact that you are here means you are a Wyvarian! Oh but what type ".
"Type?" Asked Ember.
"Why yes there's many but to name a few there's Lambent, Pyros, Storms, Frosts, Hydras, Gales, Voids,, Terrans and Venoms." Explained Carmine.
"Yes yes I know ice is technically water but hey ho I don't fancy questioning the universe".
"So you really think I'm a Wyvarian?" Asked Ember.
"I know you are. Question is which one?"
Carmine went to give Ember a warm embrace. Before he could make contact Ember pushed him away and Carmines jacket went slightly ablaze.
"Ah I see not ready for hugs yet? At least now we know you're a Pyro. Come with me!" Carmine spoke in a commanding tone.
